Security Analysis of Selected SOHO Network Attached Storage
Zaujec, Andrej ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Tamaškovič, Marek (advisor)
Honeypot/Honeynet as modern services for classical information networks
Karger, David ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
This work describes honeypots, their definition, clasification and logging possibilities. In the practical part honeypots are tested for the services that are most often attacked, their installation is performed and tests are made for basic familiarization with the functionality of the honeypot. Furthermore, the honeypot is exposed to the Internet and the obtained data are analyzed.
Artificial intelligence for application services classification in network communication
Jelínek, Michael ; Fujdiak, Radek (referee) ; Blažek, Petr (advisor)
The master thesis focuses on the selection of a suitable algorithm for the classification of selected network traffic services and its implementation. The theoretical part describes the available classification approaches together with commonly used algorithms and selected network services. The practical part focuses on the preparation and preprocessing of the dataset, selection and optimization of the classification algorithm and verifying the classification capabilities of the algorithm in the various scenarios of the dataset.
lmprovement Proposal of Network Services Model for Techniserv IT s.r.o. company
Lavický, Jindřich ; Hanzlík, Jiří (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes a proposal of network services model for Techniserv IT s.r.o. company. It analyses the present state of IT infrastructure in organization and suggests appropriate and economical solutions. It describes constituent areas of network services and their advantages. In detail, it focuses on the area of network services implementation, which is crucial for this type of work. At the end, it proposes solutions and evaluates their assets for a company.

Building and use of smaller computer networks
Kyzivát, Marek ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
The thesis describes the initial state of the computer network Basic Schools and Kindergartens Ohradní (ZŠMŠ Ohradní) in Prague 4 and then its reconstruction, which I largely contributed. ZŠMŠ Ohradní consists of four pavilions and from one building on the other side of the street. The aim of this study is to assess the initial state of the network and point out the shortcomings that we discovered. We found deficiencies in the operation stress tests, measurements and data cabling overall analysis. Original networks connectivity was 100Mb/s. Together with a colleague, we are network administrators. Furthermore, I am going to introduce a new form of network, which has identified deficiencies improved, by using on newer technologies. I will describe its structure, address allocation, active and passive components, and operated services. New network is capable of 1Gb/s, and its spine is going to be 10Gb/s soon. Benefits of this reconstruction is faster, more stable and more modern network that will facilitate the work of employees of ZŠMŠ Ohradní. To these improvements, I have mainly contributed by measurements. I participated in the design and implementation of new form of data network. I collaborated with fellow Poc to the configuration of active elements and network services in reconstructed network.

Monitoring and Control System for Small Company
Holešinský, Jan ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and to implement the active and passive monitoring and control system for small company with emphasis on the most automated control and deployment in a production network. System is appropriately designed using the Nette framework and scripting language Perl which is suitable for control computer systems and networks.
Building and using of a small computer networks
Chuchmák, Miroslav ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
This Bachelor Thesis deals with designing and building home network according to user requirements. A major aim of this thesis is to describe how to proceed, when creating a draft of home network extension. It is explained how the network can be expanded by other network elements, so that, it allows users to access the Internet and data store from home network and beyond. The Bachelor Thesis is divided into four segments. The first segment assesses the current condition of the home network, in the second segment, the new solution is suggested. The third segment describes the realization of a home network, including the configuration of a new device. The last part evaluates the new state, including the cost of implementation.
