Differential and integral calculus in economic problems

The thesis deals with the theory of differential and integral calculus and its application to economic problems. The main aim of the thesis is to create a comprehensive set of examples and to show the wide range of applications of differential and integral equations in economics. The theoretical part focuses on and presents practical applications of differential and integral calculus in economic problems and models. This part includes relevant economic theories and provides the theoretical basis for the practical part. The theoretical knowledge is further applied to economic problems that can be solved using derivatives and integrals, including an analysis of how and why these mathematical procedures are applied to a given type of problem. This subsection contains a brief description of the relevant theories, the corresponding methods, the characteristics of the models applied, etc. The practical part aims to use Maple software to visualise economic models into graphs based on real data. Maple can be used to simulate different economic situations to see how changes in input conditions affect output. The thesis includes solved examples, a study of mathematical and economic problems resulting in their solution, a comparison of results in an economic context, a discussion, and the formulation of conclusions.
Private schools in the primary education system: case study of the Karlovy Vary Region

This diploma thesis focuses on private primary in the Karlovy Vary Region. It is a case study whose main aim is to present private primary schools in the context of the development of private schools at the national level. It looks at the trend of recent years, when there has been an increase in private schools across the regions of the Czech Republic. The thesis is based on secondary data obtained from relevant documents related to private education and from the known evidence available in the country. It presents the facts about private primary schools from the perspective of various authors who primarily deal with the topic in the Czech environment. The theoretical basis of the work is based on the supply and demand for education. Attention is also paid to parents as actors who have a significant influence on the existence of private primary schools. The research part provides insights into the market of private primary education in the Karlovy Vary Region. There are introduced individual schools that have been established in the region from 1991 to the present. The aim of this thesis is to objectively evaluate the schools located in the Karlovy Vary Region based on the analysis of data on individual schools. The thesis addresses the process of assigning construction contracts and its acquisition from the perspective of the construction company. The task is focused on creating public tender`s price propositions by the contender. These findings are from my own personal experience as I was involved in the creation of this particular price proposition. At the time of publication of this tender I worked in a construction company INSKY spol. s r.o. which is mentioned in this thesis. I described the terms which you may encounter during assignment, the progress and the finalization of the contract of the public tender.

Project Management of the Bidding Process for an Automated Warehouse in a Manufacturing Company

Since the preparation of the automated warehouse solution offer has defined resources, a time limit and a defined scope, its nature can be perceived as a project and the process can therefore be effectively controlled by the rules of project management. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical basis of the issue, the second part deals with the current situation in the corporate and local environment of the selected company and the third part analyses the current state of management of this type of projects. On the basis of a detailed description of the process, the problems subsequently identified and the connections established with the help of a "fishbone" diagram, areas and specific points for improvement of the current state of affairs were identified with the graphical tool of force field analysis. These specific suggestions for increasing efficiency and reducing the time required were presented in the fourth section, including a proposal for tracking and monitoring key performance indicators and conditions that need to be taken into account for successful implementation of the suggestions.

The thesis statement is focused on construction order planning and management from investor point of view. The theoretical part consists of particular project phases including financing and public orders problematics. The theoretical knowledge is applied on specific public order. The town Nové Město na Moravě was asked for cooperation as an investor and the town provided the project Community retirement home for this thesis purposes. Whole practical part is focused on this public order preparation and management. All documentation related to this topic is contained in the thesis and the investor can use this documentation as a background for further projects. Last part of the practical part concerns the order funding, the financial plan is attached.

The bachelor thesis analyzes the influence of the economic cycle on the creation of bid prices in construction. The theoretical part defines the economic cycle, supply and demand, prices, budget and tenders for construction companies. The practical part analyzes the approach of individual subjects to the creation of offer prices by means of a questionnaire survey and guided interviews with individual consultants. Finally, the findings are summarized and recommendations are made.

The bachelor's thesis is an analysis of the real estate market in selected locations. Specifically, the city of Olomouc, Zlín, Liberec and Hradec Králové. The main idea is to compare average house prices according to dispositions and then compare them also in the territory to which they belong. In this case, the territory of Moravia and the territory of Bohemia. In the first part, it defines the basic technical and economic concepts that need to be known. In the second part, the work deals with property valuation, where its basic methods are described. The third and final part of the theoretical area is focused on the real estate market and introduced by its participants. The market for apartments or rentals is also mentioned. The practical part more closely represents the selected sites and processes the data collected, which is then analysed.
