The Ways and Means of The Communal Family Policy in Prague

Author deals with possibility of making communal family policy in Prague. Author shows the drafts, how such kind of policy can be developped. The first part of this study offers analysis of conteporary stage in the several levels - stakeholders analysis, where the key stakehlders, their attitudes, reciprocial relations and ways of communication are marked out. Another part of analysis is the comparison analysis - the specific characteristics of the city districts are analysed, as well as the characteristisc of the regions and the Capital of the Slovák Republic, Bratislava. The secondary data are ušed as well as the primary data derived from the author's research. The second part of the study deals with the designs of the communal family policy in Prague and the description of the policy tools, according to the findings another methods are ušed - e.g. construction of the problems and goals trees and the future scenarios. There are many supplements in the study, mainly the tabs, schemes and other materials in the appendix.
Airbnb and Multilevel Governance: Case Study of Prague

This master thesis is a case study that deals with the concept of multilevel governance and its applicability in the regulation of the modern trend in shared economy - the digital platform Airbnb. The base resource for the study is the territory of the capital city of Prague, where this phenomenon has a massive impact on the problems in legislative issues. The political debate on this agenda fills the headlines of media news and tends to lead to major changes or mobilization of the electorate in the upcoming years. The enormous rise of developing this service has put politics at all levels of government ahead of serious legislative and political challenges. Application of the Airbnb service example on our theory forms the core of the empirical part of the research. The aim of this thesis is to examine the importance and role of each individual level based on the concept of multilevel governance in relation to the regulation of the Airbnb phenomenon. The main part of the thesis is devoted for processing semi-structured interviews with the main representatives of each individual level, media monitoring and analysis of available resources. Citizen participation in shaping local politics in Beroun district municipalities

The subject of the thesis is the citizen participation in municipal policy of two municipalities of district Beroun. The thesis is focused especially on what is political climate in municipalities, how local government representatives evaluate participation rate of their citizens and if is possible to find this participation in specific analyzed processes of municipality. The thesis is based on two primary theoretical concepts which are public policy as a cycle and participation. There is used several types of input data from non-standardized qualitative interviews over documents in the form of municipal newsletters and petitions to the contents of discussion forums of municipalities which are used to answer the research questions. The results of the survey show that despite the pessimistic views of local government representatives on degree of citizens initiative and willingness to participate is this initiative and participation present both in auxiliary form and in the form of a protest in both municipalities.
Municipal policy and the fight against unemployment in Great Depression on the example of Prague

Thesis analyzes the fight against unemployment and its consequences on the example of Prague. It is based on a finding of insufficiency of Ghent system after the beginning of the Great Depression and follows the example of the possibilities and limits of Prague municipal politics as an alternative, addition of state policy respectively. Thesis analyzes subsequent and preventive measures by city and concludes that Prague has been primarily focused on politics subsequent. It is focused on providing kind and later on productive care and deals with setting the conditions for their using. Thesis concludes that primarily benefits system was too multifarious and complicated. And for second Prague hasn't devoted much to preventive measures.
