Production Concept of Front Wheel Hub Carrier for Formula TU Brno Racing

This thesis deals with manufacturing process of a front wheel hub carrier prototype for formula TU Brno Racing Dragon 5 series. The paper starts on foregoing work of design team leading to a proposed model and material. Both material and model are investigated form a manufacturing point of view. Cutting conditions and milling strategy are proposed based on final product analysis. Prototype was manufactured on CNC machining centre MCV 754 QUICK in company BOSCH DIESEL s.r.o. in Jihlava. Retrospective analysis of performed manufacturing process and critical risks is provided with a proposal of more effective manufacturing process. In the closure, there is technical-economical evaluation of chosen manufacture done by milling. Alternative manufacturing options including 3D print and welding are compared in technics and costs.
Trend development of tools for production sinuses forms

This thesis descibes questions of tools for production of shape hollows focused especially on milling and electroerosion machining. Here you can find individual tools included their description and characteristics, toolmakers and their news. Here are mentioned methods and contemporary trend of cutting. Here is comparison of several tools in concrete applications. Included is also list of basic types of milling tools clamping. In conclustion there is mentioned further development of tools and their using.
Analysis and usage of form cutters.

This work is a summary description of form cutters. It explains the basic definition of cutting and the principle of milling process, with a description of stock removal and basic cutting conditions. It includes characteristics and distribution of milling tools according to their shape and construction and a more detailed description of milling cutters and the most widely used clamping devices. The end of this thesis is devoted to comparing of chosen solid and form cutters with indexable inserts from major producers, like companies ZPS- FN Inc., L.M.T . Fette Ltd., AB Seco Tools and Mitsubishi Materials Corporation.
Milling tools

This work is specialized in milling tools. The basic characteristics of milling are described in the first part, where emphasis is put on the characteristic of machine tool operations, on description of the basic milling ways and cutting conditions. Next part makes the characteristic of milling tools from the viewpoint of construction, tool material, the way of labeling and using. Last part of this work is concentrated on summary and reciprocal comparing of chosen tools in production assortment of three significant home and world producers. The comparing is made for face milling cutters produced by Pramet Tools Ltd., Sandvik Coromant and Ceratizit S.A.
Cutting operation of dimensional parts by milling tools

My bachelor thesis is about milling cutters. The basic characteristics of milling and milling macines with the characteristic of machine tool operations are described in the first part. Next chapter is about holding tools which are using in company and other tools using to milliting dimensional parts . Last part of this bachelor thesis described the camping of milling tools.
Progressive Milling Tools

The aim of this work is to create a research on the topic of progressive milling tools, taking into account the actual state of development and milling tools . It also deals with issues directly and milling tools , including basic theoretical and conditions characteristic for this method of machining. It deals with the brief division of instruments from several technological aspects such as design , tooling materials, methods of camping and many others. One chapter is devoted to the method itself and clamping milling tools with a mechanical , hydraulic or thermal clamping system . The last section focuses on the current list of milling tools for surface and corner cutting . These tools were selected from the production of three major domestic and international companies engaged in the production of tools for milling. These companies Pramet Tools sro , CZ Seco Tools and Walter AG.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the development of cutting tools made of cemented carbides. The first part describes the theory of milling, which is necessary to determine the milling parameters. The next section contains an independent division of milling cemented carbide tools, their uses, advantages and disadvantages. The last part is the selection of tools from the catalogs of the world's businesses and overall assessment.
