A dark period? Or what today we show to the foreign tourist from communism, what we tell them and what we leave for ourselves.

Annotation: The presented Diploma thesis deals with the ways in witch is today, more than twenty years after the "Velvet Revolution", communist period presented to foreing tourists in Prague and in the sector of mass tourism.. It is based on my field research that took place in the Museum of Communism, during the especially on communism oriented guided tours and but rather commplementary, in the Propaganda pub and also on the semi-structured formal and informal interviews with guides. The thesis focuses on the differences in the presentation of communism in different generations of guides, it monitors how their personal, or, conversely, indirect or mediated experience affects their references. My work is observes communism not only as marketing tourism product, but using the concepts of social memory I try to point to range of different individual memories based on everyday experiences. These small personal histories of everyday life complement established, or rather the one that is still being instituted. The thesis also monitors and reflets some possible adjustments and transformations of social memory and outline what could be the motivation for these changes. Spain: The Economy and Position within the International Tourism Market

The diploma thesis is focused on Spain, its economy and position within the international tourism market. The thesis is devided into two parts. The first part includes macroeconomic analysis and comparison of the competetiveness of Spanish economy with chosen countries. The second part analyzes Spanish tourism, its atractions and potencial. The final chapter represents a summary of strengths and weaknesses of Spain and tries to formulate possible future development of the economy and the tourism industry.

Macháčková T. The possibilities of utilizing the concept of community-based tourism to im-prove the socio-economic situation of selected community in Peru. Bachelor thesis. Mendel University in Brno, 2014. This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of possible usage of the concept "Community-based tourism" in the selected community Llaqquepata in Peru as the option for improving their socio-economic situation and the living standards. This the-sis concludes with the specific developing proposals for implementation of the concept of community-based tourism with regards to real conditions and the nature of the se-lected community. Implementation of community-based tourism in this area has the potential to increase and diversify economic income in this rural community.
The Support of the Tourist Trade in Czech Republic and in Chosen Countries of the EU

This dissertation is concerned with three areas whereas each has another stadium of turism development. One of them is Spain, which has been a member of European Union for more than twenty years. So during this time it has been well-prepared and well-educated how to use european money to support and boost the travel tourism not only at the seaside. The travel turism has its own tradition on the Croatia coast since the beginning of 20th. century. But after the separation and break up of former Yugoslavia the war freezed the travel turims in this area.And the last one is Czech Republic and area of {\clqq}Novohradsko``. The {\clqq}forgotten area`` because of its location- at first in Sudeten and than in frontier zone- behind the ribs. Thats probably the reason why it has so untouched and unspoiled landscape.
Sustainable tourism in Slovakia

In the theoretical part the thesis discusses the sustainable tourism which principles are compatible with those of sustainable development and the criterions, according to which the tourism is divided into two categories: sustainable and unsustainable.In the applied part of this bachelor work the theoretical knowledge is used for the comparation of two players in tourism in Slovakia, i. e. (High) Tatra national park and AquaCity Poprad, and for the valuation in terms of their sustainability. In case of (High) Tatra national park there are specified several possibilities how to improve its unsatisfactory state.

This bachelor theses deals with the relationship between tourism and environment. The tourism has negative and positive effects on natural and socio-cultural environment. It describes problems of mass and green tourism in connection with sustainable development. The theses shows the necessity of tourism regulation and cooperation not only between regional and national organisations, but also among touristic organisations, government and businessmen. There is also the necessity of participation of the resident population in tourism. The theses presents the potential and also obstructions of future tourism development in accordance with the environment.
