The Way to Better Future Means to Understand the Past The Math Modelling
Míková, Libuše ; Papírník, Jaromír (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
The main aim of my diploma thesis is to prepare easy math model, which can help to understand the development of economic indicators in time. This math model will show the dependence and important moment in their development and can help to improve the efficiency of company. All math models will be working up in system Maple which is very good helper in working up of big group of data. The partial aim is to show characteristics of company, to valorize the efficiency of company and compare this efficiency with main competitors. The results will be recommendations which should help positive influence the future efficiency of company, help with choose of strategy and the make a better position on the market.
Animation and calculation of cyclic curves in Maple
Novák, Jiří ; Hoderová, Jana (referee) ; Procházková, Jana (advisor)
The main goal of the thesis was to deal with the topic of cyclic curves and creating interactive maplets that would illustrate creating and characteristics of these curves. The final version includes maplet with plotting parametric curve, maplet with computing curvature, maplet for all the types of cyclic curves, set of maplets for interactive change of parameters and set of maplets that would illustrate creating each cyclic curve (with animation). The thesis also contains a theoretical part dedicated to the theory of cyclic curves.
Modelling of vibration of dynamic systems with n-degrees of freedom
Horák, Petr ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dušek, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to assemble mathematical model for given system of point masses. Compute the natural frequencies and their corresponding modes of vibration. Differentiations of vibration by various points of view are written in this work. The given system is analyzed and the equations of motion using two most common methods are written. Calculation procedure of mentioned physical quantities is written in order from simplified to complete system of point masses. This procedure is used in command file to express values numerical. The frequency response of the system and the displacement-time plots are shown. The impact of constant variability entering the calculation is described.
Interactive applications in software Maple for teaching financial mathematics
ROSA, Přemysl
The subject of this diploma thesis is to search for the possibilities of using the Maple program for teaching financial mathematics. The basis is to create the maplet, which allows to users to fully benefit from the the strength of CAS (computer algebra system) created by the division Maplesoft of the company Waterloo Inc., through a simple graphical user interface. Maplets provide all the necessary tools for the calculations, they are very illustrative and help students to better understand certain problem. Detailed evolution of the maplets from its development through possibilities to its creation is also important part of this diploma thesis.
Interactive applications for teaching financial mathematics
ROSA, Přemysl
21. Century is the age of information and new technologies. Data and information from finance world are essential to make the right decisions and staying focused. New technologies also enabled new types of financial operations. All these changes made the financial education and deeper understanding of finance with its new operations a must. This bachelor thesis is focusing on extending a financial literacy by engaging and interactive form. The base is focused on explaining the most important terms of financial mathematics with connection to the formulas used in Smart documents. Explanation of the software user interface aimed on creation of Smart documents further expands this topic. Inclusion of history and origins of the Maplesoft Company and development of Maple software from its roots till today to fulfills the big picture of this thesis.
The derivation of dispersion relations for anisotropic thick plates in system Maple
Červená, Olga ; Hora, Petr
The dispersion relations for cubic and orthotropic thick plates, which were derived in system MAPLE, are summarized in the report. The report contains listings of two programs in Maple. The form of Christoffel equation, forms of its roots and polarizations of partial waves for cubic and orthotropic thick plates are derived in first of them. The forms of dispersion relations of symmetric, anti-symmetric, SH-modes and Mindlin’s uncoupled modes for cubic and orthotropic plates are derived in second program. The report is deal with interpretation of the false roots, which are occurred at computing the dispersion relations. The outcome dispersion curves computing by MATLAB are displayed in the conclusion.
