MS Excel and Word Add-In for retrieving data from SQL database

This bachelor thesis focus on development and implementation of the Add-In for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word programs for a straight-forward access to the SQL database and writing results into an active worksheet or document. The Add-In creates user-friendly access into the Conference database for Institute of Automation and Computer Science for frequently used SQL queries. The Add-In can be reconfigured to be aligned for work with another database without change to the source code.

A Tool for Analysis of User's Typing Skills as an Add-In to MS Office

It focuses on methods of analysis of typing frequency and typing errors and their usage for consideration of typing abilities of users. User's interface of the add-in is a component of the implementation, showing analysed data in a graph.

Diploma thesis deals with the design of the information system for the financial department of the company of Kiwi.com. Target of the work is to evaluate the current status of the information system of the financial department and to analyze its lacks and weaknesses. Based on these analysis and requirements will be determined the design of the new information system. Final part of the diploma thesis will be dedicated to the benefits and economical evaluation of the designed measures.
MS Office Add-In Module

This work deals with the issue of addition of extension module to the text processor MS Word, table calculator MS Excel and tool for presentation creation MS PowerPoint from office set of programs MS Office. Module will support communication, synchronization and management of documents in remote and private storage, with support for version management. This all should work across different versions of MS Office application set. These are MS Office 2003 (11), 2007 (12) a 2010 (14),  possibly even 2013 (15). Implementation is realized using programming language C# from .NET platform and PIA (Primary Interop Assemblies), which adds support for manipulation with applications and objects from MS Office application set.

Mac OS and use in the corporate sector

The bachelor thesis deals with the deployment of Mac OS X into the corporate IT environment. There are characterized two widely used competing operating systems in the theoretical part. The first one is Windows 7 and second one Mac OS X El Capitan. Another section provides a closer overview of the basic software, which is necessary for using the full potential of both operating systems. The introduction of practical part deals with the singling out of individual criteria companies on OS based on a literature review, so that they can be further analyzed in detail and compared using the Saaty and scoring methods. Suitable operating system is proposed into the corporate environment on the basis of these analysis and calculations.
