Graphical Tool for Rapid Prototyping of System on the Chip
Netočný, Ondřej ; Křoustek, Jakub (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementing of a tool for development of MPSoC (multiprocessor systems on chip). It is going to apprise the reader with this matter and introduces several ways how to solve these issues in Codasip Studio IDE (integrated development environment). The graphical editor for multicore system development and a set of support tools for fast and effective development are introduced in this thesis. These are mainly interactive wizards which help user to start new projects. To handle the subject matter it is necessary to understand CodAL language, Eclipse IDE, GMF (Graphical Modeling Framework) and EMF (Eclipse Modeling Framework) which are used for graphical editor implementation.
Debugger for Multiprocessor System on a Chip
Špaček, Michal ; Křoustek, Jakub (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
The Lissom project deals with the hardware-software co-design methodology. In this project, an integrated desktop environment for a design of multiprocessor systems on chip was developed. This environment can be used also for developing applications for multiprocessor systems. One part of the environment is a debugger that can be used to debug single core systems. In this thesis, a single processor debugger tool is described in detail and an extension to this tool is proposed and implemented based on the Nexus standard. The extended debugger allows debugging of multiprocessor systems.
FPGA IP core for Sony IMX sensor interface
Musil, Milan ; Kováč, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of the SLVS-EC interface into the FPGA. This interface is used in new SONY’s image sensors for high-speed data transmission. The introduction contains a description of the interface, its possible configurations and comparison with the sub LVDS interface used so far. This is followed by the selection of a suitable MPSoC with the Zynq Ultrascale+ architecture with focus to its hardware resources for receiving a high/speed signal. The main part of this thesis deals with the design of receiver for the SLVS-EC interface and decoding of the data. The raw image data is then stored in external RAM. At the end of this thesis is described the chosen methods of testing partial parts and overall design.
