Face mask visualization for a robotic head
Pospíchal, Tomáš ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with face exposure visualisation using backward projection. Image calibration is implemented for correction of distorsion and brightness change caused by curved projection plane. Identification of deformation is done by projected checkerboard patern . For deformation method of Moving Least Squares (MLS) is used. Test tool is designed and projector upgrade for shorther throw distance is implemented.
Acoustical measurent in real environment
Mach, Václav ; Mačák, Jaromír (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses the issue of acoustical measurement. There are dierent signals described, which are used for this purposes, both MLS and esweep, compared their advantages and disadvantages and made some practical demonstrations of impulse response measurement. Furthermore, the fundamentals of reberbation time measurement are described in theory. The practical part of this thesis consists of the measurement application, written in the C++ language and mainly targeted for Linux systems. Qt multiplatform toolkit has been utilized for the GUI part.
Compensation of Loudspeaker Frequency Response for a Wider Listening Area
Beránek, Šimon ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis studies problematics of calculating average impulse responses of rooms. Measuring signals like MLS or linear/exponential sine sweep are described. Basic methods of interpolation are explained and their applicability in frequency response calculations is described. Digital filters are explained as a tool for frequency response equalization. First part of this thesis tests methods of interpolation on 64 measured impulse responses. These methods have been further optimized and one was chosen to calculate the average impulse response for each of the measured rooms. Second part consists of AB*X listening tests deployed to find subjective aural differences of the interpolated impulse responses and few of the measured impulse responses. These interpolated impulses responses were further compensated using a warped filter library.
Design and Measurement of Parameters of Acoustic Diffusors
Burda, Jan ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This work focuses on the issue of acoustic diffusers. The introductory chapter describes the necessary theory of the sound distribution through enclosed space. Acoustic fields are also described. A description of the different diffusion element types and theirs design methods follows. It focuses mainly on design, which uses pseudo-random mathematical sequences. The aim of the work is to produce several types of acoustic diffusors and to verify their diffusion properties by means of measurements. The work uses the AFMG Reflex to simulate the diffusion properties of the proposed elements. Further, the thesis contains a description of the diffusion properties measurement process by the boundary plane method and the process of evaluating the measured data using the Matlab program.
Application for Measurement of Room Impulse Responses
Vrbík, Matouš ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This paper studies problematics of room impulse response measuring. Signals appropriate for measuring are mentioned, with emphasis on stepped sine signal (sweep) and MLS signals. Measuring methods suitable for particular signals are introduced. Another parameter characterizing room qualities is reverberation time. Theoretical and practical methods for determination of this parameter are described. First part of this thesis offers solution in MATLAB environment. Functions for generating measuring signals and for subsequent processing of measured data were created. In second part of this thesis, methods were implemented in C++ language and standalone application, which uses ASIO technology, was created.
Acoustical room impulse response database with parametrization of subsequent reverberation
Šiška, Jakub ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
Theoretical part of this bachelor’s thesis discusses description of impulse response, echogram, various methods of impulse response measurement and their comparison. Next part includes describing objective acoustical parameters, remaining energy analysis and its frequency dependent visualization by energy decay relief. Furthermore, existing databases of impulse responses are documented. The practical part consists of realization of own database of impulse responses and various graphical visualizations computed from these impulse responses. In the next part, algorithm for energy decay relief parameterization and modeling of impulse responses is described and realized in Matlab software. In the last part, a listening test is performed to verify impulse response modeling.
Výskyt antimikrobiální rezistence u streptokoků (převážně beta-hemolytických) z ran pacientů
Kuropata, Daniel
Recently, a frequent occurrence of antibiotic resistance has been observed, and is still increasing. Therefore, it is important to constantly monitor this resistance, which was the aim of this work for Streptococcus genera. The literature review is focused on the selected species of streptococci (S. agalactiae, S. dysga-lactiae subsp. equisimilis, S. pyogenes, S. mitis and S. oralis), antibiotics, including their mechanism of action, and antibiotic resistance with an emphasis on its emergence, spread, mechanisms, determining genes and the risks it presents. In the experimental part, the occurrence of resistance in streptococci (especially beta-haemolytic) isolated from patients’ wounds at the Trauma Hospital in Brno was monitored. For this purpose, determination of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), analysis of the resistance phenotype to macrolides, lincosamides and streptogramin B (MLS) using the D-test and resistance gene screening by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were used. Among the 31 clinical isolates the prevalence of resistance to cotrimoxazole (96.8%), ciprofloxacin (71%), tetracycline (29%), erythromycin (25.5%), clidamycin (16 .1%), ampicillin (3.2%) and oxacillin (3.2%) was found by using MIC. Resistance to chloramphenicol, gentamicin, vancomycin, teicoplanin, linezolid, tigecycline and nitrofurantoin has not been detected. The D-test was performed with erythromycin-resistant isolates. The constitutive (cMLS) phenotype was detected in 62.5% of erythromycin-resistant isolates, inducible (iMLS) in 25% and M phenotype in 12.5%. The PCR method confirmed the presence of selected resistance genes, namely ermA (16.1%), ermB (6.5%), mefA (3.2%), tetO (3.2%), tetM (25.8%) and intTn (32.3%). This study demonstrated that all streptococcal isolates from patients’ wounds are resistant to some of the tested antibiotics. Moreover, multiresistance was detected in some isolates.
Influence of the Number of Control Points on Mobile Laser Scanning Accuracy
Nosek, Jakub ; Kalvoda, Petr ; Kuruc, Michal ; Volařík, Tomáš
Mobile laser scanning (MLS) is currently commonly used in a number of surveying applications, such as large-area mapping. This paper focuses on the effect of the number of control points on the resulting accuracy of MLS point clouds. The MLS cloud was compared with reference data in the form of a high-precision test point field and a terrestrial laser scanning reference cloud. Testing confirmed the manufacturer's requirements for the maximum spacing of control points 100 m. Matching with a higher density (up to 50 m spacing) allows eliminating local deformations in MLS clouds.
