Camp-wide game - methodology and practice

This bachelor's thesis explores the phenomenon of camp-wide games that accompany summer camps for children. First, concepts and terms such as leisure time, camp, and game are introduced, which are closely related to camp-wide games and help us understand the principles of their preparation. The next section provides an overview of selected organizations that use camp-wide games as part of their activities at the camps they organize. Subsequently, methods for preparing, implementing, and concluding camp-wide games discussed in the literature reviewed in the first part of this thesis are compared with methods used by individual organizations.

Fundraising possibilities of Non-Governmental Organizations in the Czech Republic focused on Clubs residing in Prague

The subject of the thesis is a review of funding process of non-governmental organization Spolek II. TURNUS. This topic is very crucial as many NGOs would hardly operate without the support of various funds. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the meaning of NGOs and fundraisings. It monitors the development of NGOs and describes changes that have taken occurred since the new Civil Code has taken effect. Furthermore it summarizes the analysis of multiple financing sources in domestic public budgets but also EU budgets. The practical part analyzes the expenses of a NGO from domestic public budgets in 2013 and systematically monitors financing of Spolek II. TURNUS. The efforts to obtain funds from public domestic budgets of Spolek II. TURNUS in 2014 are described along with comparison to the level of difficulty to process individual projects. This part also introduces plans of Spolek II. TURNUS for fundraising in 2015, whether it was already successful or what are the expectations while getting a financial support. The conclusion depicts changes that Spolek II. TURNUS could perform in order to maximize the support from domestic public budgets. The thesis highlights the difficulty of processing and lack of transparency of the projects for obtaining grants and funds.
The history and the present of childern's camps in Moravské Budějovice

This bachelor thesis focuses on the history and the present of children's camps in Moravské Budějovice and the organizations working with kids, whose organize these camps. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate and compare the selected camps on the base of place of residence, prices, length of stay etc. The parish, scout, integrated and professional camps are compared. The program, planning, and organization of individual camps were outlined for present situation and also described its historical development.

This research work is dealing with summer camps for children organization before and after year 1989 from a camp head point of view. It tracks history of children camping in the world and former Czechoslovakia as active form of using kids free time during holidays. Reviews of summer camps for children is result of summer camps heads personal experience. After the year 1989 is the most attention aimed to position of operators and camp heads, mostly from legislative point of view and influence of laws and directions to their work.
