Industry 4.0 for Production Machines
Procházka, Jakub ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
The task of this bachelor thesis is to explain the vision of the concept Industry 4.0 in the area of production machines. First part is dedicated to summarize national initiatives in the world which are reacting to the changing conditions of nowadays industry. In this part are also explained basic principles and technologies which allow to make the vision possible. The second part is dedicated to design a workcell with implemented solutions of the concept. This workcell includes CNC machine tools, industrial robots and the control station. There are also summarized benefits of implementing described technologies and obstacles which are standing in the way of achieving the goals of the vision.
Uncertainty-Aware Self-Adaptive Cyber-Physical Systems
Al Ali, Rima ; Bulej, Lubomír (advisor) ; Pelliccione, Patrizio (referee) ; Bühnová, Barbora (referee)
Cyber-physical systems (CPS) need to be designed to deal with various forms of uncertainty associated with data contributing to the system's knowledge of the environment. Dealing with uncertainty requires adopting an appropriate model, which then allows making the right decisions and carrying out the right actions (possibly affecting the environment) based on imperfect information. However, choosing and incorporating a suitable model into CPS design is difficult, because it requires identifying the kind of uncertainty at hand as well as knowledge of suitable models and their application to dealing with the uncertainty. While inspiration can be found in other CPS designs, the details of dealing with uncertainty in another CPS can be confounded by domain-specific terminology, context, and requirements. To make this aspect of CPS design less daunting, we aim at providing an overview of approaches dealing with uncertainty in the design of CPS targeting collective behavior. To this end, we present a systematic review of relevant scientific projects with industrial leadership and synthesis of relations between system features, the kinds of uncertainty, and methods used to deal with it. The results provide an overview of uncertainty across different domains and challenges and reason about a guide for...
A virtual playground for DEECo applications
Khalyeyev, Danylo ; Hnětynka, Petr (advisor) ; Parízek, Pavel (referee)
DEECo is a novel component model for designing software-intensive cyber- physical systems. As a practical realization of this model there was developed the JDEECo implementation, written in Java. The usage of this framework was shown in a number of different scenarios. However, at the moment there are only limited ways to systematically create, simulate, and visualize new scenarios written with this model. This thesis presents a virtual playground that allows to create scenarios featuring autonomic robots programmed in DEECo. The playground offers a number of options in creation of scenarios, including pro- gramming robots and their interactions, customizing and extending the physical environment, and adding interactive objects. These scenarios can also be visu- alized with the developed application. The parameters of visualization can be customized for needs of a specific scenario. The functionality of the application is demonstrated on several example scenarios.
