Krucemburk bypass - location study

The subject of this bachelors thesis is a location study of Krucemburk bypass and other near town Žďírec nad Doubravou and Vojnův Městec. Bypass is solved as a relaying of road I/37. Bypass is locating in the Vysočina region in the Havlíčkův Brod district and the Žďár nad Sázavou district. The goal of this study is an improvement traffic situation in these towns, because in these towns is great traffic intensity, due to have been installed deceleration traffic lights at the entrace to these towns.
Wooden-based Detached House with Carpentry

This bachelor’s thesis deals with design of timber frame detached house with carpentry workshop. It consists of one-storey living house with residential attic connected to ground floor workshop. Object is designed as timber frame construction with the FERMACELL board. The house has a gabled roof with a standard roof frame, workshop has confessed roof frame. The house is designed for four people. An entrance is situated to north and living rooms are situated to south and west. The work contains drawings and technical descriptions and it is composed as an implementing project.

History of World Wars in the Region of Krucemburk: Teaching Local History at Secondary Schools

The thesis deals with the integration of regional history into the teaching of history, concretely by teaching the regional history of the First and Second World War in the village Krucemburk and its surroundings. The primary objective of the thesis was to show the possibilities of using regional history in history lessons with the help of project education. However, it was found that the pupils of investigated classes are not ready for the intended form of project education due to the initial qualitative research during the observation hours. Because of their abilities, it has been chosen to teach in thematic blocks using the critical thinking program so that appropriate methods are used, while observing the general pedagogical principles of the educational process, which describes a practically focused part of the work. Petr Macek, Ph.D. Abstract (in English): This work deals with Josef Bink's Red house in Krucemburk, the autonomous realization of Josef Gočár. We can find there detailed description of interier and exterier of the building, which haven't been in this range proccesed yet. The key part of the work also deals with the original plans and designs and compares them with the present form of the house. Most of the plans haven't been published yet. Except of the building's description, the work also deals with looking for the inspiration and parallels in the time of the house's formation. It examines possible influences of historismus, English movement Arts & Crafts, popular architecture leaded by Dušan Jurkovič and the both ways of Art Nouveau. Of course, the possible influence of J. Kotěra, the Gočár's teacher from the Artistic - industrial school, can't be forgotten. At the end the work tries to find a connection between the Red house and the later work of Josef Gočár.
