Literature of the microregion of Krnovsko in teaching at the 2nd level of elementary school

This bachelor thesis contains materials, which help to involve the literature of Krnov microregion in the class at the secondary school. Theoretical part of the thesis is about Krnov microregion and ethnic changes, which happened during the years of 20th century. The knowledge of this theoretical part provides self-study materials for teacher. The practical part contains worksheets with samples of work by writers connected to Krnov. There are an introduction of the writer, methodological guidelines for teachers and worksheets answer key. The aim of worksheets is to know the regional identity of the student and meet the school syllabus through the literature theory class. The work with regional literature can be applied to any class at the secondary school due to worksheets versatility. Assesment of Regional Textbooks Published in Czechia after the Year 1990. Demonstration of Krnovsko Work Course Book Creating

Diploma thesis "Assesment of regional textbooks published in Czechia after the year 1990. Demonstration of Krnovsko work course book creating" is focused on the local region exploration which represents huge and still not used capacity from the geographical point of education. The first part of this work explains the term local region by the way of the special sources and is followed by comfirmation of the local region education in framework educational programmes and foreign curricula. In the fourth and the fifth parts of this thesis there is scatched the concept of local region recognition and regional textbook creation. The regional textbooks collection from educational institution Lipka in Brno was the main subject of of the qualitative and quantitive part of the research and the source for the selected textbooks assesment as well. Final part of this thesis is the centre of it. The special chapter about Krnovsko was formed for the future textbook from the author's own study research, local region textbooks assesment and her practical experience.

Revitalization of an Industrial Facility School Geography Project

The graduating thesis (Bachelor of Science, B.Sc.), "Revitalization of an Industrial Facility: School Geography Project" is organized into two parts. The theoretical section addresses the theory and practice of critical thinking and project-based learning. I conducted a teacher survey in order to assess the utilization of project-based learning and critical thinking in elementary and high schools in the City of Krnov. The second part of the thesis proposes "Project Karnola 2020", to be completed by learners starting in Grade two. The project asks learners to develop possible utilization options of an old industrial facility deemed as a historic site, Karnola. The resulting proposal would be presented to the municipal government of the City of Krnov.
