Honzák, Jiří ; Wlazel, Adam (referee) ; Kaftan, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a new building proposal of a mountain hostel in an inhospitable conditions of czech mountains, concretely on a flank of the mountain Jelenka located in CHKO Jeseníky, not too far from the mountain Praděd. The building is situated in a location of former hunting lodge Alfrédka where many summer and winter tourist trails intersect and therefore it is a frequent place of rest for tourists, cyclists and cross-country skiers. On the other hand the locality is quite isolated from civilisation and its visit rate is dependent on tourism, which is something program of proposed building reacts to. The building can serve as a place of refreshment during hikes through the Jeseníky mountains, as a night haven for whole-weekend tours, or as a hinterland for educational school trips. Above all it provides a place where people of similar interests can get to know each other and share their travelling experience. The proposal is focused on utilisation of local energy potential which is hidden in climatic conditions of mountain regions of the Czech republic. Furthermore it is focused on evaluation of energetic loads and gains with a usage of modern computational methods and on simulating of light behavior in space. Chosen architectonic solution is a polygonal building insetted into the flank which opens towards tourist trails and a public space and on the contrary closes towards family housing so that it does not disturb its privacy. The building is inserted into convex part of the terrain and is connected to it from above so that it becomes its own part.

Zemanová, Alexandra ; Skýbová, Jana (advisor) ; Říhová, Dagmar (referee)
This diploma thesis is concerned with the topic of natural science field trips in the given region. The Eastern Sudetes are like a lost pearl hidden behind a ring of Mountains - but, despite this fact, the area deserves much greater attention than it currently receives. For each of the natural science areas, the Eastern Sudetes region offers several variants to organize excursions appropriate for primary school (as well as secondary school) students. The goal of the first part of the thesis is to introduce the Eastern Sudetes in a way, which is comprehensible and easy to work with for primary school teachers in the region, as well as teachers in the Czech Republic, and to suggest it as a suitable destination for the organization of natural science excursions and field trips. This part also includes the perspectives of local teachers and their views on the utilization of the area for such trips. On top of a list of recommended locations fit for visits with students, the second part of this thesis provides suggestions for specific natural science excursions together with worksheets and further ideas, suggested teaching aids, and proposed activities that could beundertaken with students at noteworthy locations in the Eastern Sudetes. This part also contains an evaluation of the ŠvP JESENÍKY 2022...
Vliv klimatu na radiální přírůst smrku ztepilého na vybraných lokalitách Jeseníků
Majerko, Jaroslav
The main objective of this bachelor thesis was to determine the influence of climate on the radial growth of Norway spruce (Picea abies) in selected locations of the Jeseníky Mountains. The samples (160 in total) were collected at four different localities using the Pressler borer, and dendrochronological analysis was performed with the PAST 32 programme. Tree ring curves were detrended, autocorrelation was removed and the regional standard tree-ring chronology and the regional residual tree-ring chronology were created. The ARSTAN programe was used to remove the age trend of tree ring curves and to create a residual index standard chronology. This created a residual chronology used for modeling the impact of climatic parameters on the radial increment in the program DendroClim. At the same time an analysis of significant negative years was performed. The average tree ring curve from the different sites have high similarities, and shows that radial increment statistically and significantly correlated with temperature from March to July and with soil moisture from March to May of the same year. The most significant negative years, which responded to more than 40% of all trees, were 1974, 1980, 1984 and in 2003. These negative significant years were cause by a low rate of monthly rainfall and increasing average temperatures during the growing season.

Osladilová, Martina
This bachelor thesis deals in the teoretical part with literature review on topic landscape. Practical part of the thesis deals with transformation of landscape in border region of the Czech Republic and Poland since the World War II up to present. The main study areas represent cadastral areas of villages Loučná nad Desnou (the Czech Republic) and Sośnicowice (Poland). Comparsion was made by a comparative method based on available sources and by semi-structured interviews with inhabitants of both villages. Based on research results, there were identified differences between landscapes of chosen areas in terms of economy and landscape structure. The first area is represented by forests and has mountain character on contrary to the second area, which is mainly used for agriculture and has a plane structure.
