Možnosti kompenzačního cvičení pro mladé hráče softballu do 20 let
ABBRENTOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis "Possibilities of compensatory exercises for young softball players under the age of 20" scrutinises the most common muscle imbalances deals with softball players and and how they can be dealt with through compensatory exercises. Athletes are often subject to high demands and excellent performance and results. For this reason, they often do only unilateral sports and have other exersises. However, long-term unilateral burden without proper compensation has detrimental effect on the individual's musculoskeletal system. One of the many examples of asymmetric load is softball. The first goal of this bachelor thesis was to map the most common muscle imbalances occurring in young softball players. The second goal was to create an educational brochure containing compensatory exercises. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical characterizes softball, overloaded structures and the most common injuries. Furthermore, it maps the possibilities of compensatory exercises. The practical part took place in the form of qualitative research and includes case studies of four softball players under the age of 20. Compensatory exercises were compiled on the basis of anamnesis and kinesiological analysis. The foundation of the exercise unit was very similar very similar, some exercises were added individually according to the needs of the proband. After 2-3 months of regular exercise, the results were evaluated using a kinesiological analysis that included the same tests as at the beginning. Subsequently, the results were compared and the effect of therapy was evaluated. This thesis can serve as a source of information on the most common functional problems that young softball players usually encounter. Furthermore, it can also serve as an educational material for softball players and coaches.
Possibilities of physiotherapy for handball players with chronic musculoskeletal problems
TOMÁŠKOVÁ, Denisa
Handball is a contact sport associated with a high frequency of injuries. The unilateral nature of the movement leads to pathokinesiological changes in the musculoskeletal system. These may secondarily affect the quality of movement and lead to recurrent musculoskeletal difficulties. The bachelor thesis deals with chronic difficulties arising from handball. It proposes physiotherapy options that allow to positively influence, prevent or completely eliminate these changes. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to determine the nature of musculoskeletal difficulties in selected female handball players of TJ Lokomotiva České Budějovice and to develop a proposal for individual physiotherapy for selected female handball players. Based on the objectives, the research questions "What kind of musculoskeletal difficulties are found in female handball players?" and "Did the individually designed physiotherapy plan help the identified subjective and objective musculoskeletal difficulties in female handball players? " The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, brief information about handball and female players, kinesiology of handball movements, movement difficulties acute and chronic within the sport, movement management together with tissue healing, examination and therapeutic methods and prevention are described. In the practical part, a qualitative research is developed on the basis of three case studies of selected players of TJ Lokomotiva České Budějovice playing the second women's league. The research group consisted of female handball players aged from 20 to 22 years who have been regularly training and playing handball for more than 8 years. The female players attended AB clinics once a week with written consent from the responsible staff member. The research request document is available for review from the author of the study. The practical part includes an initial kinesiological examination, a description of the 8-week therapy, and an outcome kinesiological analysis. The handball players were educated on the exercise plan they performed during therapy sessions and subsequently outside the clinic. I see the contribution of this work in the clinical practice of physiotherapists, to whom it can serve as an inspiration for working with handball players. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis can serve as educational material for sports coaches or for a selected group of people playing handball.
Effects of dance sport in the musculoskeletal system of adult individuals
JANÁČKOVÁ, Iveta
Dance sport is a demanding discipline; to participate in sport dance competitions needs daily training. Injuries and misbalance appear due to a huge strain and many dancers are forced to stop their career prematurely. There is not enough literature about the negative impact of dance sport on the musculoskeletal system available, so I decided to summarize the information. Another problem is an insufficient amount of information about possible compensation and prevention for sport dancers and dance coaches. In the theoretical part of the undergraduate thesis I focused on the description of basic kinesiology and anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, the characteristics of dance sport, and mainly on summarizing the information about the influence of this sport on the musculoskeletal system. The practical part of the undergraduate thesis consists of quality research made on two dance pairs and two non-sporting pairs. I got the necessary information from all participants from kinesiology analysis. I made questionnaires to get and complete the information about the dance pairs´ training. I compared the results with the results of kinesiology analysis of non-sporting pairs and I summarized the information about changes in the musculoskeletal system of dance pairs which might be caused by dance sport. Moreover, I planned compensatory exercises for dance pairs. The results of my research prove many effects on the musculoskeletal system and frequent injuries which might be caused by dance sport. Sport dancers should know about them. The undergraduate thesis can be used especially for sport dancers to provide them information about the possible negative impact of dance sport on the musculoskeletal system. It can also be used as an inspiration for dance sport coaches to include compensatory exercises into their lessons.

Title: Compensatory exercises in ice hockey Objective: The aim of this diploma thesis is to create battery of compensatory exercises suitable for ice hockey. Methodology: It was used scientific method of observation - theoretical-empirical character. The results were measured by pre-intervention and post- intervation measurements. The results were compared with using a Cohen's coefficient d, an arithmetic mean and a percent. Results: We have created the battery of comepnsatory exercises suitable for ice hockey players. This battery was created by studying the literature, consulting with coaches and physiotherapists and from personal experience. We were found differences in all tests compering pre- intervention and post-intervation measurements, which indicate a tendency to qualitative shift. Key words: ice hockey, muscle imbalances, compensatory exercises, unilateral load

Title: Compensatory Exercise in Tennis Objective: To summarize the knowledge of the unilateral load of tennis players and subsequently to propose a compensation program. Tasks: The first task of this thesis paper is to describe and explain the topic of compensatory tennis practice using available domestic and foreign literature, theses, and professional and scientific articles. The second task is to analyze the necessary components of tennis players' performance related to issues of unilateral load and imbalance from the available literature and build a program of exercises on this basis to prevent and eliminate muscle imbalance. The last task of the paper is to characterize the effect of compensatory exercises in the training for tennis players resulting from the analyzed literature and to summarize the knowledge of unilateralism in sports. Methods: Comparative analysis of literature dealing with the topic of compensatory exercise. Results: The analysis of available literature cannot clearly identify the most appropriate compensation exercise for tennis players, since the latest literature dealing with tennis compensation training was written in 1990. The proposed comprehensive compensation program for tennis players was compiled from personal experience and the analysis of the available...

Title: Benefits of yoga for tennis players Objectives of work: The aim of my thesis is to determine whether yoga is an appropriate solution to compensate for the unilateral burden in tennis and that through it we can prevent some health problems. Based on the information to draft yoga compensation program, which can be used during training sessions. Method: This thesis is a theoretical thesis. The information is drawn from literature, internet resources and own experiences. The importance of the work lies in the study of expert sources in the inference of new knowledge, which arise from the study of literature. Results: Based on the study of literature and Internet sources, I concluded that yoga is an acceptable compensation program for single characteristic tennis. It is advisable to involve as preventive health care for tennis players health and can be integrated into the training session. Professional players use yoga for many years and it greatly affects their performance. Key words: Yoga, compensation, tennis, unilateral burden, muscle imbalance
Tennis seen as unilateral strain from perspective of physiotherapy
SOUČEK, Vojtěch
The thesis called ``Tennis as a Unilateral Strain from a Physiotherapeutic Point of View{\crqq} describes not only the anatomy and function of the body axis, the coordination of muscle groups, the principle of disrupting movement stereotypes and the impact of these disorders on the body, but also the technique of basic tennis strokes and the muscles playing their part in the movements during playing tennis. Studying the above-mentioned theory and training plans of the players resulted in creating a series of compensatory exercises, which are described in the methodological part of the thesis along with the results of a check-up and testing. The thesis aimed to generate such an intervention programme, which would be effective and undemanding and therefore could be with no difficulties included in the training of the players. The outcome part of the thesis recorded input and output values of the experimental and control groups. The conclusion was that the unilateral strain still prevails despite doing compensation exercises; therefore the compensation demands an individual approach and more intensive engagement of each player.
