All-pass filters based on modern functional blocks
Horák, Ondřej ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Dostál, Tomáš (advisor)
The present thesis is focused on all pass filters. The principle of all pass filters, their properties, the design of nth degree of these circuits will be analysed in succession and then some of functional blocks, by which these structures can be made, will be described. After that, the allpass filters will be designed and simulated in program OrCAD PSpice. First of all, the analysis will be performed with ideal components, then with real components. After that, the sensitivity and tolerance analysis will be made and the influence of parasite effects on circuit parameters will be examined. Once the experiments are finished, the design of Printed Circuit Board's (PCB) will be realized. Circuit showing the best parameters will be chosen for the design.
Hardware Realization of Higher Order Numerical Integrator
Matečný, František ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This work describes numerical integration and solution for ordinary differential equations by the Taylor series by different types of integrators. The next part is a description of floating point and fixed point arithmetic. Subsequently, we are presenting designs and calculation methods for parallels multiplication and division integrators in floating point and fixed point arithmetic. The designs were realized in VHDL and implemented on FPGA. Finally we summarizes the proposed solution and compare time complexity with another numerical methods.
Analog Signal Processing with Integrated Current Feedback Amplifiers
Ben Ayad, Ibrahim R. H. ; Mikula, Vladimír (referee) ; Šimčák, Marek (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
Tato disertační práce pojednává o studiu, syntéze a návrhových aspektech realizace nových imitančních funkcí, jmenovitě induktivních a superkapacitních, proudových a napěťových konvejorech, kmitočtových filtrech s velkou jakostí, integrátorech a diferenciátorech, fázovacích členech s neminimální fází a napětím řízených oscilátorech. Disertační práce se detailně zabývá těmito novými bloky, které jsou popsány teoreticky a vyhodnoceny na základě simulací vlastností.
Automatic Computation Control
Opálka, Jan ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the automatic control of numerical calculations. The reader is acquainted with the numerical solution of differential equations and the parallel, serial, and series-parallel numerical integrator. The practical aim of this work is to design control circuits for the three mentioned variants of integrators. The design includes the development of a software simulator of the control circuit for the series-parallel integrator in a fixed point.
Non-filtering applications with current and voltage conveyors
Horáček, Lukáš ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on using non-filtering applications with voltage and electric current conveyors. Conveyors may be used both for filtering and for non-filtering applications. They are basic elements of many modern electric circuits and operational amplifiers. First of all, I had described what the conveyor in general is, its historical development, which types of them we can meet with and its availability in integrated circuits. Then I focused on circuits which are subject of this thesis. Namely they are: functional transducer, rectifier and integrator. These circuits were analyzed and simulated by computer software. After this I designed their realization and performed experimental measurement.
Fluxmeter with graphical display of B-H curve
Ježek, Jaroslav ; Mačák, Jaromír (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with simple fluxmeter which is able, together with other device, to show hysteresis loop. Hysteresis loop is a graphic expression of dependence of magnetic induction on intensity of magnetic field. Oscilloscope is used to display the hysteresis loop. This device is fully sufficient for the display. The measured objects are solenoids from various kinds of materials with the same shape. The main aim of this work is the design, realization and description of the fluxmeter. The fluxmeter consists of several partial blocks. The first one, on which this work is focused, is signal generator which is able to generace different kinds of signal. The generated signal comes on primary winding of solenoid where a magnetic field on a given intensity rises. An amplifier is used to obtain the sufficient intensity. Next thing this work is focused on is the design of the integrator which is necessary for the correct function of the fluxmeter. As suggested, there is shown the block diagram of linking of individual parts. There are described the measured results at the end of this work.
Specialized Parallel System and Elementar Processors
Nevřala, Pavel ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
The present thesis deals with the conceptual design of the elementary processor for computation of fixed point. This study will examine and analyze the cooperation of processors in the calculation of linear systems of differential equations with a focus on Euler's method, Runge-Kutta method and Taylor series. The thesis is divided into two major parts. The first part contains the processor design according to the type of communication processor internal components and the type of communication between processors in the calculation. The second part describes the design and implementation of a specialized multi-variant parallel system and a compararison between them.
