Expert potential of academic movements

In recent years the whole western world is dealing with economical problems, which, doesn t matter what has caused them, logically causes the reactions of government members and another policy decision-makers in many areas of public policy. Solutions taken or proposed this way aren t always accepted in public with agreement what leads to genesis of activist and protest movements. And few of these movements are focused in this work. Specifically it s a Vzd lání není zbo í! (Education is not a commodity!); ProAlt; Za svobodné vysoké koly (For free colleges) which protested mainly in years 2010-2012 against a contemplated reform of sector of the tertiary education sector in the Czech republic. This reform was represented by two legislative intents of law O vysokých kolách (About colleges) and O finan ní pomoci student m (About financial aid to students). This work researches their Policy analytical capacity while the main sources of thoughts within this area are the works of professor Michael Howlett of Simon Fraser University in Canada. It is an explorative multicase study which is based on semi-structured interviews with eminent members of the mentioned organizations. A Conception of pre-school child's resilience and its comparison from teacher's and parent's point of view The key words:  psychological resilience  pre-school child  initiative  self-regulation  attachment/relationships Abstract Theoretical part In the theoretical part the term "psychic resilience" and various approaches to it will be established. The reader will be familiarized with the factors of psychic resilience that are of the utmost importance for its development. A self-contained chapter will be dedicated to the characteristics of the pre-school child with a focus on the most important areas of said age - socialization, play, the development of self-regulation and initiative. Kindergartens as important institutions throughout the pre-school age will also be targeted. Practical part The goal of the practical part is to determine whether the viewing angle and overall conception of a child's psychic resilience differ among a child's parents and a child's teachers. Given the fact that psychic resilience is being developed in two separate environments, family and school, disparities in the conception of psychic resilience from a parent and teacher's standpoint have been observed. The standardized DECA-2 form has been used.
RESILIENCE PRESCHOOL CHILDREN IN DIFFERENT TYPES OF KINDERGARTENS

Theoretical part The theoretical part examines psychological resilience in pre-schoolers. It presents the terminology and factors influencing resilience. It describes the development of resilience in the context of the development of children. The following part describes the characteristics of resilience crucial for this research. An important part presents suggestions and tips for parents and teachers on how to foster and further develop these characteristics of psychological resilience. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes state-run, private and so called "forest" kindergartens and presents the legislative framework concerning pre-school education. Practical part The empirical part inspects the characteristics of resilience in pre-schoolers in private, state- run and the forest kindergartens. The impact of the Media's perceived image on the No Bases civic initiative's development

The thesis is focused on influence of media image on folowing-up activities of the social movement. Thesis analyses the interaction of created media image and subsequent reaction or change of argumentation of the social movement. The analysis deals with the interaction between the media and activists - members of one of the largest civic initiatives of post-revolutionary period - the No Bases Initiative, and the analysis is time-bounded from the foundation of this initiative to the end of 2007. The main part of this thesis is the analysis of several key events organized by the initiative and the media response of these actions. It is outlined how the media analysis were performed - by the testimony of former members. In accordance, the research questions - how was the activity of initiative influenced by interpretations of media outputs and he extent to which the initiative was successful in asserting their arguments and frameworks in the media? The methods of research are participant observation, document analysis, discourse analysis of media coverage and interviews with key players in the initiative. Selection of the analyzed events was based on the fact whether the action was organized in order to attract media attention, search has been consulted with key research respondents.
University Social Responsibility

The first part of the diploma thesis aims at the problematic of social responsibility related with marketing. It depicts the development of this principle and the meaning of the concept. The abbreviation CSR is used for corporate social responsibility and it represents responsible acts and practices of a company to the environment and society in which it operates. The companies strive to reduce negative impacts of their activities as much as possible. The literature also solves an issue of social responsibility of universities which is still not clearly defined branch of social responsibility. The work determines various reasons on why the universities, as educational companies, should fulfil principles of socially responsible behaviour. The thesis also presents different interest groups, key activities and further principles of socially responsible behaviour of universities. The second part of the diploma thesis processes a case study of several foreign universities performing socially responsible strategies. Different activities are identified and divided into sections which are subsequently compared with the socially responsible activities of Czech universities. The thesis also includes a data analysis of the data acquired from the questionnaire survey performed among students of universities. The survey is focused on the perception of socially responsible behaviour on universities. The work then proposes a procedure in introduction and selection of a suitable socially responsible strategy by a university.
Using of Video Home Training in Care with Family

This bachelor thesis is focused for utilization Video Home Training in Care with Family. In fact I mean utilization of method videopractise during family activities. The theoretical part is divided for two subheads. In first subhead I describe Video Home Training through intervention ( VTI ) - its history of formation, theoretical basis and backrounds, own course of therapy through VTI and application areas. The second subhead is dedicated to family its principal functions, working of families and family environment. Purpose of this bachelor thesis is chart possibilities of Video Home Training method in area of social care with family. Sectional purpose is describing of own experiences with method VTI in scope and framework of own family. Following to these goals were appointed these investigative questions : - What are possibilities using method VTI in care with family? - What are experiences videocoaches with using VTI? - What is benefit of VTI from the perspective of them ? For implementation dates´collection was used qualitative research. It was realised by method interrogation by using technology semistructured dialog. Three videocoaches were chosen through criterion technology from research file. These three videocoaches ( deal with social work with family in Central Bohemia District). And my own family was chosen, too. Dates´collection was carried into effect in April and in August in 2014y. Research part consist of dialogues with videocoaches, particular answers I compiled into schematic diagrams and clear tabulars because of better clarity. I realized own experience through cycle of video of common situations in my family including analysis. I recapilutated acquired informations and answers for research problems in debate. Through executed research I found out possibility of using and utilization method VTI during social care with family in its home environment, at schools, in special pedagogical centers, during early care, during fostering, during critical help, in correctional facilities, in homes for elderly, in shelter homes and in other social and medical furnishing. Videocoaches have experiences with this that in Czech Republic is method VTI used predominantly only in institutions and establishments. Through VTI videocoaches help families with educational problems and pedagogical problems and social problems and (as well as critical), medical (physical as well as psychical) from newborn period to the elderly of man. Benefit of method according to videocoaches is in this that peacefully, very distinctly, fast and client himself will understand his experienced formulas of behaviour. He did not perceive these formulas formerly. I fond out through my own experience that method is really purposeful and effective. I confirm grade and benefit of method VTI. I tested fact beyond researchthat VTI is in Czech Republic known a little and used method. For underprivileged and disabled inhabitants is this method not only absolutely unknown but as well as financially unvailable. This visual and peaceful method would be benefit during their integration. Method that is oriented for client and it would be often prevention of social exclusion. Anticipated using of findings would be good utilize as in information source quite for area of social care with family and for general public.
Ten steps for optimal birth care.

Topic of this bachelor thesis is 10 steps for the optimal obstetric care. The theoretical part is focused on general aspects of obstetric care, individual birth times, which includes not only a physiology, but also an obstetrician's role in these times and a competence of a midwife. The theoretical part is also focused on International initiative for obstetric care for mother and child - 10 steps for optimal obstetric care and describes in detail individual points of the initiative. The first goal of the research was to find out how well midwifes know the initiative. The second goal was to find out how midwifes provide optimal obstetric care and finally the third goal was to find out what experience with obstetric care puerperal women have. Qualitative and quantitative research was used to achieve these objectives. Opinion of midwifes about the IMBCI initiative and its individual steps was found out by interviews. By questionnaires was discovered what experience with obstetric care puerperal women have. The research group consisted, 10 midwives and 110 puerperal women. It was discovered that midwifes perceive the IMBCI initiative as beneficial, they mostly agree on its individual points, however they add that points presented in the initiative should be standard for every midwife. According to the obtained results it came out, that the care is provided optimally only particularly, in accordance with recommendations of IMBCI. Midwifes responded, that they agreed on individual points and they tried to follow them, but they saw a problem in necessity of respecting orders of doctors who had tendencies to rush for a childbirth and intervene in a physiological process of a birth. An estimated hypothesis has been confirmed, because it was discovered that there are differences in perceptiveness of obstetric care between midwifes and puerperal women. Results point out that women have lack of information about the care which is provided for them although midwifes claim they inform them enough. Almost half of puerperal women quoted that they were not informed about massage as a pain reducing method. Results are consistent with the statement of midwifes about too frequent interventions to the natural birth process. A navel cord is immediately after the birth cut off to most women and they are often limited in eating and drinking. Some of them felt a rush for giving a birth and it was prohibited to have a long contact with the neonate immediately after birth. In connection with potentially harmful procedures, most women confirmed repeated vaginal examinations and performing of episiotomy. Most women underwent artificial rupture of the membrane sack. This imply that these procedures are executed often, sometimes even as a routine, although they are not, according to actual science results, beneficial in any way, only in specific situations, when its benefit is higher than its risk. From interviews with midwifes it came out, that they totally automatically fulfil ten points of Initiative for a support of successful breast-feeding. Puerperal women sensed it differently. This bachelor thesis can be used by midwifes or student of this field for acquiring a greater perspective in a care, which is presently described as optimal. It is up to them if they will follow individual steps of the initiative or if they will be inspired and find their own optimal way. These lines could help women to clarify what they expect from a care in a maternity hospital and how it should properly look in an ideal case.
