Restoration of the watercourse with connection to the urban recreation zone
Hlaváčková, Kateřina ; Zedník, Ondřej (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of a revitalization measure for the water course of Březnice with involvement in the urban area of the village of Březolupy. In the theoretical part, describes the revitalization of watercourses, their integration into the ÚSES, principles of revitalization and hydroecological monitoring of water streams according to the HEM 2014 methodology are described. In the practical part, an analysis of the area and hydromorphological monitoring is carried out on the selected locality, and subsequently, conceptual revitalization measures are proposed in two sections, in the urban area and surroundings of the village. Finally, an evaluation of possible revitalizations is carried out.
Restoration of the section of the Libotyňský brook and adjacent floodplain meadows
Pikna, Jan ; Věra,, Hubačíková (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with three main topics: research of current literature on the restoration of small watercourses and floodplains and the restoration of water supplies in the landscape. The main topic is the implementation of hydroecological monitoring of the Libotyňský stream (Prachatice district) using the HEM 2014 method and then a conceptual design of revitalizations that would improve the hydromorphological flow state. In the literature research, it is possible to find theoretical (e.g. natural and modified riverbeds) and applied topics (revitalization of smaller streams in the open countryside and urban areas, revitalization of other water features in the landscape). In the final part of this topic, the territorial system of ecological stability (ÚSES) and hydroecological monitoring are described. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the implementation of hydroecological monitoring of the Libotyňský stream in its entire length using the HEM 2014 method, its evaluation, description of strengths and weaknesses, and selection of individual sections for implementation. In the thesis, we also deal with specific proposals for measures to improve the stream's hydromorphological state by revitalizing the stream and adjacent floodplain meadows with a connection to the recreation zone and ÚSES proposed in the territorial plans of the municipalities whose cadastres the stream flows through. In the end, the work compares the proposed measures with the current state, evaluates the modifications made, and evaluates the goals of this work.
Set of arrangements in Javornický stream floodplain for Rosnička pond water quality improvement
Špaček, Ondřej ; Hubačíková,, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the projection of water management and erosion control measures in the Javornický stream floodplain to improve water quality in the Rosnička pond near the town of Svitavy. In the teoretical part, the author summarized current practices in the areas of small river restorations and protection against soil erosion in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the analasis of the area was first made, including the analysis of natural conditions, hydroecological monitoring of watercourses according to the HEM 2014 method and quantification of soil loss conditions according to the USLE method. Then, revitalization measures on the Javornický stream were designed to improve the self-purification of water and the restoration of ground water in the floodplain, as well as two variants of erosion control measures on agricultural areas to reduce the input of sediments into the hydrographic network. Finally, conceptual and technical recommendations for the implementation of these measures were formulated, as a basis for planning and decision-making of the political leadership of the town of Svitavy.
Small water course restoration and its integration to the territorial systems of ecological stability
Blatecká, Markéta ; Kozel, Tomáš (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with hydro-ecological monitoring and evaluation of watercourses using the HEM 2014 methodology - Methodology of monitoring hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses and Methodology of type-specific evaluation of hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses. The methodology is under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment and it responds to the Water Framework Directive. Part of the work is a literary research focused on related topics, especially the revitalization and territorial system of ecological stability. Practical part includes monitoring and evaluation of a small watercourse. For a part of a watercourse there is a designed a plan to improve its condition with integration into the ÚSES.
River and floodplain restoration of Rohelnice stream with intergation to territorial systems of ecological stability
Komárková, Adéla ; Hubačíková,, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This work deals with the state of watercourses, the territorial system of ecological stabi-lity and the possibilities of improvement for a state close to nature. The Rohelnice river basin and the solved watercourses are located in the Olomouc Region in the Morava River Basin. HEM - Hydroecological monitoring is a part of the assessment of the state of watercourses, which is a requirement of the European Water Framework Directive. The work contains the elaboration of a literature search on this topic with a focus on water retention in the landscape and the possibility of improving ecological stability in the basin. The content of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the hydromorphological status of watercourses in the Rohelnice river basin with the selection of sections on watercourses and places in the wider river basin for elements of ecological stability on the basis of zoning plans of affected cities and municipalities and improvement of the overall ecological status in the Rohelnice river basin.
Hydromorphological monitoring of Sopřečský stream and and possibilities of its improvement
Sirůčková, Renáta ; Hubačíková,, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the hydroecological monitoring of the Sopřečský potok and possibilities of its improvement. The Sopřečský potok is located in the Pardubice Region in the Elbe River Basin. In the first phase of the work, hydroecological monitoring was carried out and then the hydromorphological state of the watercourse was evaluated. All procedures comply with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive. On the basis of its evaluation and taking into account the delimitation of ÚSES elements, the sections on which the measures to improve the state of the watecourse were implemented were selected. The effect of the modifications on the hydromorphological state was again evaluated. In conclusion, there is a comparison and summary of the proposed modifications to the existing state of watercourse.
Hydroecological monitoring and revitalisation of small water course
Komendová, Denisa ; Hubačíková,, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the hydroecological monitoring and river restoration of the Syrovinka watercourse in Hodonín district. In the framework of the hydroecological monitoring a river hydromorphological assessment was conducted as a part of assessing the ecological status of watercourse, to meet the requirement of the Water Framework Directive. Hydroecological monitoring was conducted using methodology HEM 2014, which is accepted as a national standard by the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic. Problematic reaches of watercourse were determined and for the selected reach a river restoration measures have been designed. Subsequently, an efficiency of river restoration was evaluated. The main benefits of designed river restoration are the restoration of ecological function and the support of natural water retention in floodplain.
