LAHOFER WINERY DOBŠICE
Nytrová, Bohdana ; Dvořák, Martin (referee) ; Myslín, Jiří (advisor) ; Hradil, Dušan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis designs new buildings of the Lahofer Winery in Dobšice u Znojma. It is based on a study carried out in the studio AG32. The complex will consist of production line and warehouses with the overall production of 1.000.000 bottles a year, altogether with a public and administration building where the wine will be exhibited. The building plot is located on the eastern edge of the land registered area of the nearby village Suchohrdly. The plot is undeveloped agricultural land full of vineyards, arable land and gardens. The ground plan is the most profound part of the design. The circumference of the building symbolizes a wine grape or wood-shavings which refer to a famous woodcarver Jan Lahofer whose name the winery carries. The many atriums create half-enclosed space protected from the wind and serve as handling areas of the production; a terrace or an attractive entrance. The building consists of four successive matters on two levels. The production is placed in three of them. It creates a circle on a single level so that there is a need for only one entrance to the handling area. The public part of the structure is located on a separate level perched on the slope above. It is predominantly made up of showrooms and restaurants. The accommodation units for guests and employees can also be found here. The building is made of a steel framed structure with a hanging facade and a flat roof. The massiveness is softened by the glass facade in the atrium and other glass parts - some of which are as tall as the building itself.
Architecture in landscape - Winery

The aim of this thesis was to design a facility for wine in South Moravia, situated near the New Mills dam. In addition to stemming the needed space for storage, pressing, packaging and export of guilt, I also suggested areas for visitors, especially exhibition space, restaurant, shop wine, tasting room, suite accommodations. The building includs apartment for owner of wineries. The building is designed with regard to environmental concerns. As part of the concept of ecological water purification and also its natural resources (eg ground heat exchanger, solar collectors). An important component of the concept is not only the building itself but also all aspects related thereto, in particular the inclusion of wine in the landscape and future land use in its vicinity. You need to create a place that becomes something more than the actual building. Also to enhance cycling and visit rate in this area I suggested the boat rental, which, along with smaller restaurant and bicycle store contributes to a better use of waterfront and water reservoir.
Ampelografický rozbor vybraných moštových odrůd z rodiny Veltlínů
Muchová, Eva
The aim of this diploma thesis was to study the available literature and to describe selected wine grape varieties from the Veltlín family using basic ampelographic methods. For these purposes, the varieties Veltliner rotweiss, Frühroter Veltliner and Grüner Veltliner were selected. During the year, the onset of individual phenophases was monitored, the leaves, grapes and berries of the varieties were collected and described. The work was focused mainly on the leaf. Descrtiptor List Genus Vitis L. was used for the description, only some descriptors were selected. The measurement results were evaluated using tables, graphs and basic statistical methods. Cluster analysis was used for statistical evaluation.

Porovnání kvantitativních a kvalitativních vlastností vybraných klonů odrůdy Sauvignon
Pokorný, Stanislav
The research in this diploma thesis aims on the comparison of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of selected clones of variety Sauvignon blanc. For selected clones were compared phenological phases, uvological characteristics, analysis of grape must, wine analysis and sensory evaluation. The experiment was carried out in the vineyards of the company Ampelos a.s. It was observed eight clones of variety Sauvignon Blanc. It was observed phenological phases in the same conditions of given clones. It was then determined uvological characteristics of bunch of grapes which was aimed on the average weight of bunch of grapes, the average weight of berries, the average weight of berry, the average weight of stem, the average number of berries and the average size of bunch of grapes (length x width). In the grape must were measured the analytical values, such as the sugar content, the amount of titratable acid, pH, the assimilable nitrogen content. From the results, it was clear that clones from Czech selection are much better adapted to the Czech climatic conditions. It was also observed that not all clones from Czech selection achieved better results than clones from abroad. This was confirmed in the case of clone 29/68 which has got the worst results from the all observed clones. As an ideal option for producing high quality wines is a planting composed from multiple clones with different characteristics.
Vliv regulace násady hroznů na vývoj révy a kvalitu hroznů
Ťápal, Marek
The knowledge of location conditions, grapevine morphology and physiology are the fundamental assumptions for production of high quality grapes and final wine. The quality management should be considered as a comprehensive set of agrotechnical steps which influence the crop quality. The canopy management, especially bunch thinning, represents a group of actions influencing grapes quality parameters such as sugar and acids content, pH value and the content of polyphenols, anthocyanins and yeast assimilable nitrogen. The aromatic or phenolic maturity and plant vigor are influenced by the canopy management, too. The bunch thinning experiment with Malverina grape variety showed a very positive effect on sugar and acids content, pH value, aromatic maturity and plant vigor.

Příčiny a důsledky vadnutí hroznů a třapiny
Mikulčík, Jan
The aim of the thesis is to focus on the information concerning the physiological bunchstem necrosis and berry shrivel. I had to deal with possible causes and consequences. In conclusion I've formulated recommendations for growers. In the first part, I've defined the basic concepts (grape, berry, stem), continuing with bunchstem necrosis in general. The following chapter describes the abiotic causes of berry shrivel necrosis and then those biotic. The next chapter deals with the general part of physiological bunchstem necrosis and then bunchstem necrosis due to magnesium deficiency. In the last part of third chapter I present the world studies of this issue.
