A Dialectic of Tameness and Wildness in Hermann Hesse's novels

Annotation: The main topic of this thesis is an analysis of tameness and wildness phenomena in particular Hermann Hesse's novels. Thesis will aim to expressions and interpenetrations of those phenomena and their position in period mind frame.Aim will be chronological analysis of those phenomena, their evolution and change in particular novels and an attempt of their synthesis. Therapeutic approach to tinnitus in Hessen

The diploma thesis is dealing with the issue of tinnitus which is defined as the perception of sound within the human ear in the absence of corresponding external sound. The thesis describes classification, etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis and therapy of tinnitus. The focus lies particularly in the description of various therapeutic approaches. Empirical part of the thesis presents the case studies of 12 respondents with tinnitus. Using qualitative research methods, the answers received from German respondents from Hesse region are compared to the answers of respondents living in the Czech Republic. The research focuses on the tinnitus diagnose, cooperation with experts, possibilities of therapy and their results, ways of funding, satisfaction of respondents with the therapy and contribution of self-help group for people with tinnitus.
Novel Demian in Historical Context of its Era, its Inspirational Sources, and its Influence in Time of its Publishing

The thesis focuses on the detailed analysis of the novel Demian by Hermann Hesse. The novel is analysed in the historical context of the book with consideration to the private life of the author. Carl Gustav Jung's psychoanalysis and Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy are noted as the main inspiration sources.
