The effective coverage of the heat demand using solar system

This master thesis aims to design the heating system and HDW preparation in an apartment building. The first variant deals with condensation gas boiler as the only energy source, while the second variant combines the gas boilers with the solar thermal system. The apartment building is located in Prag and has three above-ground floors and a basement. In the basement is the technical room. Convectors are being used for heat distribution. The theoretical part deals with the introduction to the solar thermal system.

Low-energy houses are becoming more common and requested. The Bachelor's thesis focuses on heating and ventilation of low-energy houses. The beginning chapters describe and explain basic principles of these buildings and basics of air-handling and heating systems. The main part of the work overviews contemporary heating and ventilation systems while pointing out their advantages and disadvantages. The work includes a design of heating and ventilation of low-energy house.
Center of Rest in Lavičky

The topic of this master´s thesis is a new building design of recreation centre in Lavičky and processing of project documentation for this building realization. This thesis is furthermore completed with two specializations. It deals specifically with a specialisation in the field of technical facilities of buildings – heating and air conditioning. The recreation centre is a complex of two units that will provide restaurant and accommodation services with leisure activities facilities. In one of the units there is designed an accommodation facility with smaller wellness area, in the other unit there is designed a restaurant. The estate where the units are located occurs in the north part of the village Lavičky. This locality is built up by family houses and apartment blocks. The architectural solution of the designed units follows on from the concept of simple country object where the object has the shape of rectangle ground plan and is roofed by typical saddle roof. The building of the restaurant and also the guest house is in the shape of rectangle and is roofed by double sheathed saddle roof with metal folded roofing in dark grey colour. As well it utilises modern elements of architecture as big window openings or dormers. The filling of the openings will be accomplished by wooden windows in natural shade. The façade of the units is designed in that way to match both unis together. It is solved by white façade paint in combination with cement splinter panels imitating wood or cement splinter panels in grey colour and is completed by outdoor wooden pergola or wooden storm porch. The wall base part is formed by mosaic façade in grey colour. The layout solution of the units follows on from operation requirements of the particular services and they are separated in space for customers and for operation space. The aim this bachelor thesis is the design of heating and preparing of domestic hot water via solar system. The theoretical part deals with the solar systems, solar collectors and stagnation of solar systems. The second part deals with a separate proposal heating and preparing of domestic hot water in a family house. As a heat source was proposed condensing boiler and solar collectors. The hot water is also ensured condesing boiler and solar collectors. The third part consist of a technical report and drawings heating of the specified object.
Possibility of using EMW radiation for killing biotic pests

The remediation of building elements and structures in terms of moisture and sterilization (inactivation) of biotic pests is dealt with quite often in construction practice and in the construction industry itself, and is thus a topical issue. The issue is dealt with by specialized companies that know the use of available technology on the market, or are themselves involved in the development and improvement of these devices. Several methods are known for the removal of moisture and sterilization of biotic pests, with sufficiently high-quality data on the technology used, the suitability of the equipment used, a more detailed description of the application of the methods themselves and the results themselves. The methods themselves, for removing moisture and eliminating (inactivating) biotic pests, must be chosen according to individual requirements, as some methods will be more appropriate (more effective) and some less suitable. For the practice itself, however, it is important that the methods are sufficiently effective and at the same time available to the wider public (their economic side). In my dissertation thesis I focus on the potential of EMW radiation utilization not only for liquidation of biotic pests (fungi, fungi, wood decaying insects), but also elimination or reduction of necessary conditions for survival or development of these biotic pests. Therefore, my work also focuses on the presence of moisture, because moisture is a common factor in the vast majority of problems associated with the occurrence of biotic pests. Due to its intensity, it is one of the less time-consuming method and therefore a more cost-effective (economically) method. The research I conducted at VUT FAST focused on the use of microwave radiation in the control of biotic pests, under conditions that are close to those on real constructions. The use of a microwave method to eliminate biotic pests and at the same time to remove moisture has proved to be advantageous.
Warm-air heating and ventilating system for low-energy family house

The diploma thesis deals with warm-air heating and ventilation system of energyefficient family house. The part of thesis is theoretical introduction to low-energy and passive houses, ventilation and heating. The proposal itself is based on the applicable standards and includes all progressive steps, including the calculation of the thermal performance and sizing individual parts of the system. The drawing project documentation is listed in appendixes.

This bachelor thesis deals with the heating of houses with boilers for solid fuels. Thesis is divided into several parts. In the first part is dealt with most common solid fuels, their characteristics, composition and modifications for house heating. The second part is focused on solid fuel boilers, describes chosen boilers, their operation, their advantages and disadvantages. In the last part is economically assessed the suitability of selected solid fuel boilers for heating the model house.
Using cogeneration unit for heating and electricity production

The final thesis deals with the heating of the hospital building and preparation of the domestic hot water by cogeneration unit. The building will be largely heated by plate radiators. As a heat source is used a cogeneration unit with combustion engine. The project deals with the design dimensioning and connection of these parts.
Assessment of investment in heating house

The bachelor´s thesis deals with economic evaluation of investment in insulation and heating and resulting operation of boilers in a family house. The calculation of thermal design power, which is needed for heating, was made according to norm ČSN EN 12831 for the house in actual state without insulation. Further were suggested two options of insulations and modernization of windows, for reduction of heat loss. Then was calculated the thermal design power for the two new options, again according to norm ČSN EN 12831. Next were presented possibilities of heat sources. For the specified family house was chosen a gas boiler in classical and condensing implementation for all three variants of insulation. These all options have made six variants which were compared together and evaluated. In the conclusion were excluded four variants economically disadvantageous and was chosen one of the final two variants as the best suggestion for the specified family house.
Home Heating Control with Hybrid Communication
