Title: The Analysis of the Development of Physical Capability of Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic in Plzeň Region in 2012-2019 Objectives: The analysis of physical capability of members of Fire Rescue Corps in Plzeň region. The object of diploma thesis is to determine the current state of physical capability of members of Fire Rescue Corps. Moreover, to assess the development of physical capability in last seven years. Methodology: Obtaining data by asking staff members, literature study, processing theoretical basis, processing acquired data, the analysis of results Results: An average age of members of Fire Rescue Corps in Plzeň region is increasing. An average age is 40 years. The results of strength disciplines positively increase and physical capability in this field increase as well. On the contrary, the results of endurance disciplines deteriorate. The most surprising finding is a deteriorating result in running. Analysis of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic effectiveness with DEA models
Milnerová, Karolína ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
This thesis deals with DEA models (Data envelopment analysis), which are models for measuring the efficiency of peer decision making units (DMUs). First part focus on basic DEA models (CCR model, BCC model) and this part is extended by new CH-CCR model, which considering that the variables (inputs or outputs) are usually strongly correlated. In second part is included description of network-based models, which are afterwards applicated on data of FRS CR (Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic). Using this models is solved efficiency of FRS CR through the regions.
Commercial use analysis of Wireless Mesh Network
Bystřická, Radka ; Basl, Josef (advisor) ; Malík, Petr (referee)
There is a constant development and continuous progress in the wireless technology field as it is in the all fields of information and communication technologies. One of the latest trends is the wireless mesh network. This type of network brings new features into the wireless field such as multihop, self-configuration, self-organization and self-healing. This enables the usage of wireless networks in new fields and industries or the upgrade of current implementations to meet new market demands. This thesis summarizes theoretical findings from this field from the users' point of view and functionality dimension. This is followed by a summary of possible applications, available technologies and known standards. The second half of the thesis consists of a requirement analysis of a chosen user group (the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic) focusing on application of wireless mesh network for rescue operations. The analysis also includes test criteria and principles for test procedures for this application.
Analysis of flood situation 2002 in the district of Lužnice river - near the village Majdalena.
ZÁVODSKÁ, Pavlína
Floods in 2002, in the village of Majdalena specifically, directly touched the lives of many families. The flood wave destroyed the village citizens´ possessions and property and what was not destroyed, that was seriously damaged. Water is a powerful element one can not exist without, but if it affects human lives and causes damage, the human psyche is scarred for a very long time. "Analysis of the 2002 flood situation in the Lužnice River - near the village of Majdalena" deals with the course of flood conditions, the resolution of consequences and the subsequent measures. The main goal is to determine the current status of flood protection in the river Lužnice near the village of Majdalena, the partial goal is to analyze the flood situation in 2002 from the point of view of intervening components and the area administration. The first part deals with flooding in general. Various flood levels and their subsequent resolutions are described. After the 2002 floods, a number of analyses of these catastrophic floods causes were worked out. The meteorological forecasting method was enhanced, the measures to improve forecasting, warning and alert services were suggested. Area administrators try to raise towns and villages flood resistance with the help of subsidies. The intervention was subsequently analyzed from the point of view of intervening units, public administration and citizens. The second part mostly deals with the specific analysis of the extent of flood situation in the sandpit of Majdalena. The detailed analysis showed that the reservoir dam had been designed according to the technical parameters standard for a given time. And only the competent decision-making of the involved bodies of the region and its municipalities and the experience gained after the floods in 1997 in Moravia was a very important contribution to mitigate the consequences of flooding and to avoid the loss of human lives. At the conclusion of the thesis you can ask a hypothetical question: Is it possible to clearly, accurately and quickly predict the impending disaster as a result of unexpected natural changes? Flood control measures may be as perfect as possible, but sometimes a human being stands helpless against natural elements. The events in the village of Majdalena were only one part of consequences of floods in 2002 that had affected the whole area of the South Bohemian region.
