Hydraulic verification of water flow

This bachelor thesis deals with a comprehensive hydraulic assessment of the Svitava River with an emphasis on nature-based flood control measures and watercourse revitalization. In the theoretical part, an overview of current approaches to watercourse revitalization and flood protection is given. The practical part focuses on a detailed analysis of water flow in a specific section of the Svitava River, which is performed using a computational tool such as HEC-RAS. On the basis of the obtained results, various options for stream revitalisation and flood protection are proposed and subsequently subjected to hydraulic assessment.

Regulation of Hartmanice River

This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the current condition of the part of Hartmanice stream and his vegetation accompaniment. Stream flows through the Hartmanice village in Pardubice region. Designed stretch begins in the R.K. 1,080 – 1,662. Assessment of the current condition is based on the personal perambulation, the personal geodetic survey plus photographs. In this thesis are designed the possible variants of stabilization of the river banks and completion of vegetation accompaniment. The capacity of the flow is counted by the HEC – RAS program. Drawings are created by the Auto - CAD program.

Studie návrhu záplavového území na vybraném vodním toku Uherskohradišťska

This thesis deals with a proposal for flood area in cadastral district of a town Hluk. Proposed area is defined from 12,805 to 15,495 rkm, total lenght of proposal is 2,69 km. Data for the creation of flood area of Hluk were provided by The Moravia River Basin, s.e. Brno. The analysis of flood area was done by using the computer program HEC - RAS. The final flood area for proposed flow Q100 was done in the computer program AutoCAD. The thesis is complemented by drawing documentation and photografic documentation.
