Súčasné preferencie mladých ľudí v cestovnom ruchu zo Slovenska

This thesis deals with the issue of current preferences of young Slovak people in tourism. Its main objective is to find out which forms of tourism they prefer. This objective also contains a sub-objective which aims to define the factors influencing their choice of a form of tourism. Subsequently, an online questionnaire survey is evaluated on the basis of the theoretical knowledge presented in this bachelor´s thesis. It focuses on preferred forms of tourism, specific forms of tourism, means of travelling, and factors that influence young people. The analysis of individual results has revealed that young people prefer sightseeing and experience-based tourism. As for the specific forms, most of them have participated in the dark tourism. A specific product design and recommendations that can serve as an inspiration for a more effective targeting of the given age group are presented in the final part of the thesis.

This bachelor thesis is focused new trends of tourism, gap year. In my thesis is division and definition of tourism and its trends. Next one is research concept of gap year. In practical part is analysis of real data from travelers, who travel abroad for longer time about favourite target destinations, about reasons of leaving for longer time, about age, gender and quantity of travelers, about travelling separately or in group, about preference shorter or longer travelling abroad, about assets and negatives of longer stay abroad.
The Needs and Interests of Youth in the Sphere of Tourism

The thesis is devoted to tourism of youth with focusing on the needs and interests. The theoretical part deals with issues of tourism of this segment and marketing research. The practical part focuses on a survey to determine preferences of students of selected universities in relation to the services provided by travel agencies. Collected data are then compared with information contained in the theoretical part and serves as a base for marketing advice to the Autoturist travel agency, Plc.
