Application of modern technologies for design and production of chess
Černohous, Filip ; Nejedlý, Jindřich (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis proposal will be a chess set in 3D with AutoDesk Inventor 2010 and his made for using advanced CAD/CAM technology. For the production of chess figures additive method is used Fused Deposition Modelling. To produce the game plan will be used for technology cutting - milling. The thesis provides an overview of Rapid Prototyping, their brief description.
Production of assembly jigs by Fused Deposition Modeling method
Havelka, Ondřej ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Nejedlý, Jindřich (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and manufacture of assembly jigs for the production of LCD TVs in the company Wistron Infocomm (Czech), s. r. o. In the thesis was carried out to assess the current status of use of assembly jigs, design and creation of two prototypes of assembly jigs. The work includes testing, choice of method of manufacture, their routine use in the production and evaluation of results. The work also include literary studies describing RapidPrototyping technology and its various methods.
Utilization of the modern method for a production of the prototype of the hair dryer handle
Vrána, Radek ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor work is to design and produce two-part universal holder of ETA hair dryers. Holder is designed in 3D CAD system Autodesk Inventor and is produced by Rapid Prototyping technology using Fused Deposition method. From existing Fused Deposition Modeling prototype of bigger visual part is made silicon mold and cast from resin. There is evaluation of both methods considering technical-economical aspects in the end of my work. Process of design and production using both methods is documented and described. My work includes history of ETA, a.s. company, characteristics of Fused Deposition Modeling method and technology of casting to silicon mold. Prototypes will be used for further development of holders for ETA´s hair dryers.
Construction and manufacturing of chassis of radio-controlled car model using modern technology
Rejžek, Jan ; Nejedlý, Jindřich (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of the work is to show a principle of simple parts production through advanced additive technologies. Design of the parts is realised by CAD software SolidWorks. Manufacture of the parts was subsequently carried out by using Rapid Prototyping technology with using an additive method of Fused Deposition Modelling. The work also includes a comprehensive overview of the currently most popular production methods in Rapid Prototyping technology.
Production of the car gearbox using Fused Deposition Modeling method
Štěrba, Ondřej ; Nejedlý, Jindřich (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is creating a virval model of the car gearbox . The gearbox from the car Skoda Felicia was used to create the individusl parts into a final assembly. Construction of the assembly model and the layout have been implemented inAutodesk Inventor, which is a software CAx application. Final production was performed by Rapid Prototyping Technology, using the Fused Deposition Modeling equipment uPrint from ABSplus material for the purpose of visualization. The final verification was assemblin single patrs of the gearbox, including ensurance its functionality.
Usage of modern technologies for manufacturing the blades of fishing baits
Barcuch, Jakub ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design a number of blades for fishing baits in 3D parametric CAD system Autodesk Inventor 2010 and their production with using the additive technology of Rapid Prototyping. The method Fused Deposition Modeling will be used to produce the master model blades. The silicon molds for the production of resin casings will be created for blades with compliant properties. The work contains an overview of commercially available Rapid Prototyping methods, their brief description, advantages and disadvantages.
Rapid prototyping methods suitable for foundry technology
Kadlecová, Hana ; Kuzma, Zbyněk (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
Rapid Prototyping is an essential part of functioning of the modern foundry. The aim of this bachelor thesis is an overview of modern technologies of Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques. Furthermore, this work addresses the most important applications in the foundry industry with a focus on investment casting technology.
A production process of rapid prototyping part “shifter lever head” using modern software and technology
Kristel, Peter ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
Target of this thesis is focused to production a prototype part shift lever head. Project was created with ergonomic elements for better and comfortable manipulation and use. Model of a prototype was filled by design components, which evoked remarkable expression. Production and editing was realized in parametric CAD system. Source data was used from scanning primary body of shift lever head with use a reverse engineering method, 3D scanning using ATOS system. The function of final prototype was verified by commercial available rapid prototyping method Fused Deposition Modeling.
An overview of modern methods in manufacturing of prototype castings
Drápela, Jan ; Adam, Daniel (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
At bachelor thesis I deal with the survey of Rapid Prototyping methods which could be used for quick manufacturing of prototype foundry. Today number of Rapid Prototyping methods exist which could be used for many human activities. First part of thesis deals with general survey of Rapid Prototyping technologies.Second part of thesis deals with the using Rapid Prototyping methods at foundry.
Application of Rapid prototyping methods for development of new product
Rozinek, Josef ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
Target of this bachelor’s thesis is to describe application of Rapid Prototyping methods for development of a new product. First it describes principles used by machines for Rapid Prototyping with the overview of selected manufacturers of specific devices. Further it contains certain examples of industrial application. Thesis is concerned about development of a new product using conventional methods and Rapid Prototyping methods with the analysis of the differences and advantages of each method. It describes an issue of design of a new product from the sketch phase to the prototype production phase. As an example of industrial application there is described a Narex angle grinder inovation process.
