Supporting children's interest in the history of their region in educational programs of The Hussite Museum of Tábor

This bachelor thesis examines the role of museum education in developing positive relationship of children and youth towards history of the region, in which they live and the history in general. Selected activities of the Hussite Museum of Tábor are described while considering their respective impact on children's interest in history of their region and on cultivating their understanding of cultural heritage. The introduction defines the term "cultural heritage" and considers the educational potential of museums and galleries. The following part assesses current state of museum education in the Hussite Museum. The third part describes individual programs of the Hussite museum, focusing on those educational goals, methods and contents which support the participants of these programs in developing their interest in the history of the region.
Death and dying in the perspective of religiously understood pedagogy of free time

This bachelor thesis deals with Christian view of death and dying, in both historical and modern concepts. Its further objective is to address the chances of modifying contemporary attitude toward religion, death and dying by the means of Free Time Education. The first chapter is devoted to religion and death in general, with the emphasis on human relation to death and dying in the society of Jews and Ancients; it largely focuses on the emergence and progression of the Christian understanding of death, as well as related religious practices and rituals. The second chapter is focused on current perception of religious beliefs associated with death, and particularly on the recent secularized attitude towards traditional religious concept of death. The third chapter deals foremost with the perspective change in human approach to death and religion with the assistance of Free Time Education and the method of Philosophy for children. Whether the goals were achieved as desired can be found in the Conclusion, as well as a brief summary of the work.
Possibilities of creative activities in the free time education (comparison of country and town)

The work deals with the definition of the creativity and creative activity conception, defining of the subject, functions and aims of free time education. Furthermore, with the personality of free time teacher and his roles in the interaction with children and young people. The main topic is creative activities in the education of free time. The work defines the area of creative activity on the basis of hobby activities. After implementation of these areas provides the basic types of free time institutions. Finally, the work provides a comparison of options for creative activities in a country and a town.
