Image data transmission system from UAV

This bachelor thesis explores the processing of image data in the robotic operating system ROS2 for wireless transmission from unmanned aerial vehicles over mobile networks. It focuses on optimizing image data for fast transmission to cloud storage, emphasizing latency minimization and optimal frame rate depending on the environment type. The results of the thesis contribute to the real-time utilization of unmanned aerial vehicles, particularly in the field of robotic vision.

This diploma thesis provides a comprehensive proposal of stabilization mechanism for sensing and FPV camera for remote controlled propeller plane. Summarizes the current human knowledge milestones in the field and describes the current state of knowledge and the market situation. Taking into account all acquired knowledge the author then describes two different design proposals outlining its related processes, such as manufacturing, electronics installation and commissioning.

Tato bakalářská práce nabízí přehled všech dronů používaných v současnosti, hlavním cílem je ovšem představit drony pro volnočasové aktivity. První kapitola dělí letouny podle jejich konstrukce, velikosti a typu pohonu. Dále se práce zaměřuje na drony hobby a rekreační, konkrétně na stroje technologické společnosti DJI, FPV letouny a na zábavní průmysl. Následně jsou zmíněny oblasti, ve kterých jsou drony využívány, například armáda, zemědělství nebo revize budov. Poté pojednává o evropské legislativě související s drony a práci uzavírá kapitola o nehodách dronů a možnostech, jak jim předejít.
