Chcu víno! - Mobile App for Communication of a Customer with a Wine Maker
Adamec, Martin ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a mobile application for Android that will connect small wineries with their customers. The result is two applications, the first of which is for wineries and the second one for customers, who can search wineries by simple criteria, save them as favorites, make notes and much more. The applications respects Material Design rules. Google Firebase is used for work with data and Firebase Cloud Messaging handles notifications between devices.
Phylogenomics, genome size evolution and repeat dynamics in the genus Amomum Roxb. (Zingiberaceae)
Hlavatá, Kristýna ; Fér, Tomáš (advisor) ; Haevermans, Thomas (referee) ; Zedek, František (referee)
Amomum Roxb. s.l. (black cardamom) is a complicated genus in the ginger family Zingiberaceae (subfamily Alpinioideae) that according to some definitions includes groups of species recognized as separate genera, e.g. genus Elettariopsis Baker. Phylogenetic studies have so far failed to elucidate both the position of Amomum within Alpinioideae and the relationship between Amomum and other genera like Elettariopsis. In this work, Amomum was subjected to a detailed morphological analysis of the largest possible sampling, together with a phylogenetic analysis. Amomum was recircumscribed, Amomum s.s. and three new genera were established, three genera were resurrected, and genus Elettariopsis was merged into Amomum. Meanwhile, new species were described and others epitypified. A well-resolved nuclear-gene phylogeny of Amomum s.s. was obtained using next-generation sequencing (Hyb-Seq) and showed the existence of four clades (A, B, C, D) within the genus. Clade D, the former genus Elettariopsis, was further divided into three subclades (D1-D3). A chloroplast DNA-based phylogeny supported this structure, but additional phylogenies based on ribosomal DNA were incongruent with it, indicating that the frequently used ITS marker and other rDNA markers may not be suitable for reconstructing deeper phylogenetic...
Morphological and ecological differentiation and distribution of taxa in the Galium mollugo group
Talpová, Julie ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Štech, Milan (referee)
My thesis deals with three taxa of the polyploid complex Galium mollugo that occur in the Czech Republic. These are diploid G. mollugo and tetraploid G. album subsp. album and G. album subsp. pycnotrichum. These taxa are very similar to each other, their identification is difficult and exact values of the quantitative characters used for their separation are unknown. To date, there has been no study based on flow cytometry (FCM) and classical morphometrics analysis in this complex. By using them I wanted to bring new results and fill the gaps in scientific research. Primarily, I was investigating whether the individual cytotypes can be distinguished based on different genome size using FCM analyses. Another aim was to determine whether it is possible to define morphological and ecological differences between diploid and tetraploid taxa. The morphometrics included ordination and discrimination methods. I observed whether taxa could be distinguished by the naked eye and determined by measurement which characters are most suitable for identification. FCM analyses proved to be suitable to distinguish the two ploidy levels. I have been able to demonstrate by statistical methods that diploid and tetraploid taxa differ from each other, and I have also refined the characters that are most suitable for...
Variabilita druhu \kur{Calamagrostis varia}
NAKLÁDALOVÁ, Jana
Calamagrostis varia is a critically endangered species in Czechia. It has an interesting distribution range comprising the main area in calcareous parts of Alps and Carpathians and several isolated distribution areas on the northern edge of its range. The ecology of these sites is very heterogeneous. We therefore decided to explore this species' variability. In this study DNA ploidy level by FCM, morphometric characters and 2 genetic markers of 50 populations across the distribution range of C. varia were studied.

Closures in Groovy and Java
Černý, Michael ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Zilvar, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the closures in Groovy programming language and their implementation to Java programming language. It compiles all the available information about the closures in Groovy and compares the important projects which aim to implement the closures in Java. The first part of the thesis explains the term of closure, describes the development of this term and related issues. In the second part the author analyses the closures in Groovy programming language. The theses deals closer with the usage methods, syntax, calling methods, the value that the closure returns and the scope of the variables concerning the closers in Groovy. The third part describes the projects which inspired the work group which works on the final form of closures to be implemented in Java and also the first and the last available project of this work group. Finally the author compares the form of Groovy closures to the last project about the Java closure implementation.
