The first focus is on Erich Kästner, as a representative of the pre-war generation, and his novels Emil und die Detektive (1929) and Das fliegende Klassenzimmer (1933). The second author is the Austrian writer Christine Nöstlinger, who began her literary action in 70s of the 20th century.
