Conceptual design of the conversion of an electric motorcycle
Roman, David ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Böhm, Michael (advisor)
The work is about the study of the current offer of electric motorcycles, individual structural elements, and the concept of using an electric motor and battery. Furthermore, the work compares the operating costs of conventional internal combustion engines and electric motors. The main part of the work is the calculation of the battery capacity for the motorcycle, which is converted from a conventional internal combustion engine to an electric motor and the selection of a suitable engine and battery storage concept, so that the dynamics of the motorcycle is not significantly affected.
Electric Powered Offroad Motorcycles
Kobza, Tomáš ; Šebela, Kamil (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the study of off-road electric motorcycles, both currently available and prototypes under development. The work describes the history of electric motorcycles up to the present knowledge, construction issues, the types of drive units and batteries used. It compares an electric-powered motorcycle with a conventional-powered motorcycle.
Design of an Urban Electric Motorcycle
Rýznarová, Adéla ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
Nowadays, an increasing number of people are faced with problems related to excessive traffic. This is most noticeable in urban environments, where a large number of different vehicles, especially cars with internal combustion engines, regularly meet. Their excessive number makes the traffic situation much more difficult and contributes significantly to air pollution. This situation is not sustainable in the long term, which is why people are increasingly looking for more environmentally friendly alternatives. One possible solution, for example, is the partial replacement of conventional means of transport by electrically powered urban single-track vehicles, which, thanks to their compact size and greater environmental friendliness, make urban transport easier.
