Commented Scientific Bibliography
Oram, Vojtěch ; Otrusina, Lubomír (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes science portal with focus on annotated bibliography. The main objective was to create tools for easier searching, organizing and annotating scientific publications. The result application was implemented in web framework Django and supports desired functionality for creating bibliographies.
System for the Data Presentation and Data Collection
Skácel, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Milička, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a tool that allows receiving data from multiple agents and representation of those data to logged in users. Model of recorded data is created by designer using special tool integrated into developed aplication. The application backend is implemented in Python language using Model-view-controller design pattern. Used database management system is MySQL. For definition of views within the application is used application specific scripting programming language.
Information System for Fair User Policy Management
Vykydal, Oldřich ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
Main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement information system for the management of Fair User Policy, or abbreviated as FUP. This whole project is based on the use of NetFlow technology to monitor the computer network through the monitoring of network flows. The resulting information system will enable network administrators to set limits to customers in the volume of transferred data and subsequent monitoring of their compliance. If the customer is in breach of these limits, the information system will allow the penalty. The system will also record some statistics on network traffic.
Design and Implementation of Project and Time Management Tool Based on Real-Time Task Scheduling Principles
Mokrá, Radka ; Květoňová, Šárka (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design of application for scheduling projects and time using principles of real time scheduling. In the beginning this thesis describes project management and time management and their principles. In the next chapter are principles and algorithms of scheduling in real time system described. The next chapter deals with design of application for scheduling projects and time using principles of real time scheduling. MVC design pattern is described in following chapter.Implementation of tool is desribed in next-to-last chapter a the last chapter is devoted to use cases of final tool.
Risk Analysis Software Support
Mokrá, Radka ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design of cross-platform application for risk analysis support. It describes risk management in information technology and methods which can be~used for risk management with emphasis on those that can be visualized. Possibilities for cross-platform development are described subsequently. Next, application for risk analysis support is designed and implemented. In the end of this thesis is shown how to use implemented application for risk analysis.
Registr IT rizik
Kohout, Karel ; Doucek, Petr (advisor) ; Luc, Ladislav (referee)
The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes several selected methodologies and best-practices related to information technology risks management, with focus on documents and guidance developed by ISACA. It builds a set of ideas and basic requirements for effective model of an IT risk register. Strong emphasis is placed on mapping CobiT 4.1 based Risk IT to COBIT 5. The practical part describes implementation of an exploratory web-based IT risk register in Python programming language utilizing the Django framework and employs concepts from the analysis.
Comparsion of frameworks for rapid web development
Florian, Jan ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (referee)
This thesis aids at comparing two frameworks based on Python and Ruby used for agile web development. Besides the basic description, history and philosophy of both Django and Ruby on Rails, all criteria used for their evaluation are laid down, described and put into wider context. In addition, the implementation of the MVC architecture in both frameworks is described along with the basic project structure and tools available.
Suitability of the Django Framework for Information Systems Development
Hrubý, Jan ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
The aim of this study is to analyze the Django framework in terms of design patterns and architectural principles with emphasis on development of information systems. Based on a comparison of two real systems was identified basic general functionality, the systems commonly support. This analysis helped identify the strengths and weaknesses of the framework. These ensue from the application architecture and from weaknesses of some of its components. Based on these were derived requirements for library expansion and new application components. Problems that have arisen with the solution of the new application components within the specified requirements are theoretically analyzed and described their solutions with emphasis on the application of appropriate design patterns. The solution here appears the Observer design pattern in an environment different processes, access control entries (pessimistic and optimistic locking) and a database schema in an incremental approach to the development of an information system. Implemented components were used to program information system in a team, which demonstrates the overall suitability of this framework for use in the development of information systems.
Modern approaches to web development
Porazil, Tomáš ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Šubrta, Václav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the introduction to the modern approaches to web development. The thesis is divided into three main parts. First two parts are theoretical and last part is practical. The frst part presents two technologies, web services and the object-relational mapping, that meant a large boom in the web applications during last years. The second part of this work explains web frameworks Ruby on Rails and Django. These frameworks are representatives of moderns tools for web development. Programming languages Ruby and Python are introduced along with those frameworks. Final part of this work is practical and shows how simple appli- cation would be implemented in the frameworks Ruby on Rails and Django. Themain contribution of this thesis is introducing modern approaches of web development and outline possible future development.
