User Interface for the bee hive management system
Torbin, Evgeny ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Veigend, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a user interface for the bee hive management system and its implementation as a multiplatform application. The user will be able to view statistics about their hives, apiaries and manage them. This information is provided by the server and received from special sensors installed directly in the hives. To solve this problem, Ionic framework written in JavaScript language and web technologies HTML and CSS were used. Communication with the server is done using REST API. The final application provides an interactive and user-friendly interface for managing bee hives, and is available on different platforms. The main result of this work is to prove that it is currently possible to create a full-fledged application without knowledge of platform-specific technologies. This approach makes the development of similar projects cheaper, more efficient and much faster.
Shared transport for hospital staff
Lukášek, Ondřej ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Tesařová, Alena (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design and development of a mobile application for the employees of Olomouc University Hospital, who face a shortage of parking spaces on the premises. The application addresses this issue through shared rides for commuting to and from work. It is implemented for Android and iOS platforms using the React Native framework, with Firebase used as the backend service. The main contribution of this work is the extensive user research involving over 1000 hospital employees. Besides the research and overall mobile development, this thesis deals with the actual implementation of the application using modern approaches. The resulting application is ready for imminent release and pilot operation in the hospital, representing an important step towards practical deployment in a real-world setting.
Application for Creating Extended User Interfaces Using Floating Windows
Šediba, Jakub ; Zaklová, Kristýna (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis aims to address problems related to the necessity to often switch active windows to access information from external sources while working. These problems are addressed by creating a modular cross-platform application for Windows and Linux operating systems. This application allows users to develop multi-window modules which can then be combined to create a desired extended user interface overlaid above other windows. Outside of this functionality, access to automation through global keyboard shortcuts, file-system monitoring and input device simulation is provided. The developed application uses the Tauri framework and a combination of web technologies with the Rust programming language.
Mobile Application For Personal Finance Management
Straka, Jiří ; Neuwirth, Bernard (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the design and development of a cross-platform application for personal finance management. The thesis is divided into three parts, the first one describes the theoretical background of personal finance, financial management and technologies for the development of cross-platform applications. The second part includes an analysis of the current state of the mobile operating system market, an analysis of existing solutions and an analysis of trends in mobile applications. Based on these analyses, functional and non-functional requirements are determined, and SWOT analysis is developed. The last section describes the implementation of the application, its different parts, and database. The thesis concludes with the monetization of the application, economic evaluation, and planned extensions of the application.
Motivational Cross Platform Mobile Application for e-Health
Pohner, Pavel ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Pastushenko, Olena (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on design and implementation of cross-platform application, which will support and extend user's physical activities and capabilities with usage of gamification. In the beginning of this work some of the existing applications were analyzed. Subsequently analysis of gamifiaction elements and tools for implementing cross-platform applications and user interfaces was performed. Based on acquired informations the application was designed. The result of this thesis is cross-platform application running on platforms Android, iOS and web, which is implemented in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with usage of Cordova framework for deploying application on target platform and Ionic framework for application's native appearance. The application with usage of gamifiaction elements motivates user to fulfill given physical tasks and trainings, which should result in improved physical abilities and better physical condition.
Bluetooth Low Energy Voting Device
Vybíral, Tomáš ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of embedded voting device and application for voting. The proposed voting device uses Bluetooth Low-Energy protocol which helps to achieve low energy consumption. The result of this thesis is a fully functional prototype. UI application was created using the Qt framework and is responsible for handling wireless connections, processing of individual voices and displaying the voting results.
Electron Technology for Desktop Applications Development
Ščensná, Júlia ; Maruniak, Lukáš (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The thesis is focused on development of desktop applications based on web technologies. These applications are determined to run on major operation systems on the market, namely Windows, Linux and MacOS. The aim of this thesis is to examine technologies that offer this development and to select some of the technologies for future work that includes implementation of applications into selected technologies. At the end, the thesis describes comparison of applications and their testing. The results of this work are implemented applications and their comparison on basis of possibilities they provide.
