Assessing Adaptation Measures in a Selected 4th Order Watershed

The aim of this study is to propose and evaluate adaptation measures within the selected 4th order watershed (4-15-03-104). The primary goal of these proposed measures is to stabilize the water regime in the landscape and manage extreme hydrological phenomena, as well as to mitigate erosion risks in the territory. This approach aims to create a harmonious landscape aligning with the fundamental principles of sustainable development. Prior to the proposal, the territory underwent a detailed analysis based on available data and field reconnaissance. The research compares two variants with the current state of the landscape. Variant 1 utilizes historical maps as a foundation, while variant 2 incorporates measures designed to optimize the landscape in response to ongoing climate change.

Analysis of Critical Points in the Transportation of Hazardous Substances by Road

Diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of critical points in the transport of hazardous materials on the basis of which there is given a methodology for selecting safe routes. Thethesis includes statistical data on the total performance in the transport of hazardous materials within the EU states as well as specifies the proportion of transport performance of hazardous materials to the total performance among the individual European countries. For Czech Republic, the thesis also presents a statistical overview of the accident rate associated with this kind of transport as well as deals with the causes and consequences of the accidents occured during the transportation.

This bachelor thesis deals with the technological stage of rough superstructure of sales hall in Tišnov. Bachelor thesis contains engineering report focused on rough superstructure, situation of construction site with wider transport relations and solution of transport routes, design of construction site equipment including it’s engineering report, itemized budget, time schedule and design of machinery for the rough superstructure stage. Part of the thesis is technical prescription for assembly of prefabricated systém, also solution of safety measures on the construction site and inspection and test plan.

Critical Points in Teaching German

This diploma thesis deals with critical points of German language teaching in primary and secondary schools. The first part of the thesis is focused on the researched issues from a theoretical point of view and presents the foreign languages didactics. It further describes the German language framework educational program and related concepts that can help to understand and facilitate the solution of critical points in German language teaching. The second part presents the evaluation and analysis of 25 questionnaires obtained from the IPUP KA7 project (Innovation of teacher training for practice, CZ.02.3.68 / 0.0 / 0.0 / 16_038 / 0006960). This survey was focused on the identification of critical points from the perspective of German language teachers at primary and secondary schools. Four of these critical points are analyzed in more detail and accompanied by motivational exercises that can simplify them for teachers and students as well.

D·kaz Věty o horském sedle provedeme s pomocí Ekelan- dova variačního principu, který si rovněž formulujeme a dokážeme. Následně si ukážeme dva příklady její aplikace na d·kaz existence netriviálního sla- bého řešení eliptické parciální diferenciální rovnice obsahující nelinearitu se subkritickým r·stem. 1

Method of Lagrange multipliers in Calculus of Variations

Tato práce řeší několik základních příkladů z variačního počtu a demonstruje prospěšnost zamyšlení se a případné pozměnění úlohy bez snížení dimenze za přítomnosti vazeb. Všechny úlohy jsou řešeny metodou Lagrangeových multipli- kátorů. Především v konečné dimenzi demonstruje hypotézu autora ohledně ne- snižování dimenze problému klasifikace definitnosti diferenciální formy druhých derivací a ukazuje jednak příklad, ve kterém je autorův nápad prospěšný, i pří- klad, kde svádí na scestí. 1

Predicting Financial Market Crashes using Log-periodic Oscillation and Critical Slowing Down

This bachelor thesis concerns itself with multiple objectives. First, to compare two apparently contradictory frameworks, namely the Log-periodic Power Law model and the Critical Slowing Down, suggested as being able to detect the end of financial bubbles. Second, to enrich current literature dedicated to the Log- periodic Power Law model with a comprehensible description of the non-linear optimization methods in one piece of work. This work, furthermore, aims to com- pare the performance and the robustness of two versions of this model. Regarding the Critical Slowing down, the correlation across the world market over time prior to a crash is investigated as an addition to two already studied indicators, 1-lag serial correlation and standard deviation of detrended fluctuations. Eventually, both the Log-periodic Power Law models were proved to be able to identify the time of the burst of the financial bubble, while the modified version of the model was found to be more proficient over the initial one in terms of computational efficiency and robustness. In the case of the Critical Slowing Down, obeying auto- correlation of residuals and cross-correlation of intermarket residuals came out to be misleading, and only variance was supported as an appropriate indicator of an imminent tumble, and it was proposed...
