Visual inspection of surface treatment using machine vision
Tsarykau, Matsvei ; Sujová, Sára (referee) ; Škrabánek, Pavel (advisor)
Automated visual inspection of surface finishes is a fundamental challenge that can be solved by integrating machine vision systems. This work aims to analyze, design, implement and test such a system. The proposed system includes the selection of suitable hardware, the design of its placement relative to the target object, and the formulation of an algorithm for processing the image data captured by the system. In addition, it forms an integral part of the testing phase to evaluate the quality of object classification.
Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the SAN-JV s. r. o. and Proposals to its Improvement
Hruda, Filip ; Koutníková, Drahomíra (referee) ; Polák, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis deals with assessment of the financial development of a company using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of financial analysis, its methods and formulas of selected methods. The aim of this work is the financial analysis of selected indicators in the years 2007-2012, the evaluation of proposals and solutions of the problems that have been identified.
Differential analysis of multilingual corpus in patients with neurodegenerative diseases
Kováč, Daniel ; Zvončák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Mekyska, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the automated diagnosis of hypokinetic dysarthria in the multilingual speech corpus, which is a motor speech disorder that occurs in patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. The automatic speech recognition approach to diagnosis is based on the acoustic analysis of speech and subsequent use of mathematical models. The popularity of this method is on the rise due to its objectivity and the possibility of working simultaneously on different languages. The aim of this work is to find out which acoustic parameters have high discriminative power and are universal for multiple languages. To achieve this, a statistical analysis of parameterized speech tasks and subsequent modelling by machine learning methods was used. The analyses were performed for Czech, American English, Hungarian and all languages together. It was found that only some parameters enable the diagnosis of the hypokinetic disorder and are, at the same time, universal for multiple languages. The relF2SD parameter shows the best results, followed by the NST parameter. When classifying speakers of all the languages together, the model achieves accuracy of 59 % and sensitivity of 72 %.
Evaluation of the construction-technical state of the sewer network
Bártík, Tomáš ; Malaník,, Stanislav (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the structural and technical condition of the selected part of the sewer network. The work is devided into two parts. The aim of the first part is the issue of designing, exploration and methodology of evaluating of sewer networks and sewer connections. In the second part of the camera records, there was carried out the classification of disorders according to the coding system ČSN EN 13508-2. Each section was subsequently rated by the technical indicators, which were evaluated for overal technical condition. The assessment has shown that one of the sections is in critical condition. It should address the measures to improve the condition of this section. For this reason, there are designed two kinds of rehabilitation.
Analysis of hand-written text of patients with neurological disorders
Galáž, Zoltán ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mekyska, Jiří (advisor)
The master‘s thesis deals with the analysis of the hand-written text. There is a design and a realization of a system for the purpose of diagnosing a Parkinson’s desease based on the analysis of hand-written text. The system consists from several modules and it is programmed in the programming environment of MATLAB. The first module provides pre-processing of the records to adjust records to the form suitable for the segmentation. Afterwards, the records are divided into those with signals onto the surface of the tablet and those with the signals above the surface of the tablet. In the next module the records are segmented by the two-phase metod of automatic segmentation.High-level featuresare calculated from the extracted features. The results of the statistical analysis are exported in the form suitable for the classification process. The classification is performed by the proposed model made in the programming environment of RapidMiner. The output of designed system is the trained model capable of automatic classification of the Parkinson’s disease by the analysis of the hand-written text.
