The thesis focuses on the development of stock rates between 1995 and 2013 in two banks which have most clients in Czech Republic. Their stocks are the most monitored on the czech market. One of them is Česká spořitelna, a.s. and the other is Komerční banka, a.s. The development is processed econometrically with time series analysis. These series are compared to form a conclusion. The next part of the thesis is creating a prediction of the stock development in the future. Recom-mendations for investors can be created with time series, so they can choose the most suitable bank for their investments, considering the profitability.

Srovnání cen akcií České spořitelny a Komerční banky

This thesis analyzes the development of stock prices of two banks. One of them is Ceska sporitelna and second one is Komercni banka. These banks include in the Czech Republic to the largest in terms of number of clients. Their stocks are among the most monitored on the Czech market. Period of monitoring the development in the stock prices is since January 1995 to December 2015. First are selected variables that might have an impact on the stock price, and then is made a multiple linear regression. The second part is made of The Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM). For this model, it is necessary to determine the risk-free interest rate and market index. After performing multiple linear regression and CAPM results in individual banks evaluated and then compared with each other. Finally, it provided recommendations for investors who would like to invest to stocks of these two banks.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of social responsibility in the Česká spořitelna Bank which presents itself as (and seems to be) socially responsible. The main goal is based on the chosen methodology of measurement to answer the key questions from all CSR areas, to determine at what level the company is situated and also evaluate the atti-tude of the company towards analyzed areas. The results are intended not only for the society and clients of Česká Spořitelna Bank, but especially for general public. There are examined strengths and and weaknesses in terms of fulfilling of CSR in the thesis. Particular recommendations for each area of social responsibility are suggested, the contribution for membership in the society Rekola can be mentioned as an example in social sector.

Technical Analysis

Bachelor thesis focuses on the use of technical analysis in practice and compares the results with the investment fund. The theoretical part describes the basic stock information, methods of technical analysis and basic theory needed to build a diversified portfolio. The analytical part describes the selection of several biotechnology companies and examining their stock prices using simple moving averages. Analysis results are compared with an investment fund. Further described is a portfolio composed of investment funds by Erste Bank and application for calculating moving averages is described at the conclusion.

The theoretical part describes background papers necessary for using technical analysis and for creating diversified portfolio. The analytical part describes the selection of several automobile manufacturers from NASDAQ stock market, which will be examined in the following part by several methods of technical analysis. The last part of this thesis is also dedicated to application created for necessary calculations in Matlab and to portfolio composed of investment funds by Erste Bank.

Extension of a System for Automation of Payments in PSD2

The purpose of this thesis is to extend the system of the payment automation process in the company Platební instituce Roger a.s. The thesis is closely linked to a new european payment legislation - the Second Directive on Payment Services (PSD2). The directive introduces a new concept of the so called open banking service which allows the licenced third party providers to control the client's bank account directly through the special banking API. Within this thesis the current state of the process of PSD2 implementation in the Czech Republic has been explored and recorded. Afterwards a new system for the payment automation has been designed and developed. This system enables to interconnect the internal company software of Roger a.s. with API of Komerční banka, Česká spořitelna and Raiffesenbank. The result of this diploma thesis is the program which will be used for inputting and confirming one time payments. It could be also used for downloading the transaction history or the account balance on the company's bank accounts.

Analysis of Česká spořitelna revenues within Erste Group

The bachelor thesis focuses primarily on the analysis of revenue development of Česká spořitelna. Then it examines whether this revenue development affected the parent company Erste Group. The introductory section defines the main revenue categories. Within these categories the main factors that influenced their development within Česká spořitelna are analyzed. Consequently, the development and main factors affecting these categories are compared with the development of the Erste Group. The thesis captures the development of revenues between 2012 and 2016.

Analysis of the economy of selected bank institution

The aim of this thesis is a financial analysis of Komerční banka, a.s. in business years 2010-2014 and further comparsion of results of this bank with results of another financial institution which is Česká spořitelna, a.s. The thesis is composed of methodical part and application part. In methodical part are described principles of financial analysis, information sources, users and financial indicators. In application part the methods and indicators are applied to Komerční banka, a.s. and after that the results of this bank are compared with financial situation of Česká spořitelna, a.s. The conclusion of this thesis summarizes important findings and includes assesing of the whole financial situation of Komerční banka, a.s. and compared entitity Česká spořitelna, a.s.
