The response of German school policy to the European migration crisis on the example of four federated states

The bachelor's thesis introduces the reader to the response of the education policy of the Federal Republic of Germany to the issues of migration and school integration. The reader is acquainted with the functioning of the federal republic, the education system in the Federal Republic of Germany and the European migration crisis. The content of legislative documents in the field of education is presented within the selection of four federal states, namely Bavaria, Brandenburg, Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. The thesis presents a view of these documents on the school attendance of migrant students, their school integration and the influence of different religion on common subjects offered in public education. The bachelor's thesis is a comprehensive view of the issue of German school legislative documents in relation to the European Migration Crisis.

Right-wing extremism in Brandenburg 1990-2010

The bachelor thesis and one case study "Right wing extremism in Brandenburg 1990 − 2010" discusses the different forms of right wing extremism in the federal state Brandenburg in the timeframe of twenty years after the German reunification. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the development of this phenomenon in Brandenburg in all its forms, reaching from right-wing extremist mindsets over political parties, to groupings and the commission of crimes. But also the persecution of right-wing extremism through the measures taken by the government of Brandenburg and the civil society by the Brandenburg political officials as well as the civil society is handled in the thesis. The author is dealing with the reasons for the spreading of right-wing extremism, points out the interconnection between its constituent forms and verifies the officially declared "stagnating to declining" tendency of right-wing extremist display in Brandenburg. Several conclusions are drawn. The scene is much interconnected despite its heterogeneity, especially with the National Democratic Party NPD. The most immediate danger is posed by right-wing extremist motivated violence, justified by the ideology of the culprits and ranging from threats to murder. Emperor Charles IV. and the Conquest of Brandenburg 1371 - 1373

The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the process of acquisition of the Margraviate of Brandenburg by Holy Roman Emperor and king of Bohemia Charles IV. It uses charters, chronicles, annals and other contemporary sources to map especially the military actions of the years 1371 - 1373, which eventually led to the conquest of Brandenburg. Furthermore, the thesis concentrates on the history of Charles IV's endeavour to seize this land in relation to his political and territorial ambitions. It is also concerned with Emperor's motivations and his diplomatic activities regarding Margraviate of Brandenburg and its seizure. In a special chapter it describes the structure of the army that Charles IV had at his disposal during the two campaigns to Brandenburg. The overall aspiration of this thesis is to be beneficial to the study of the uses of military might by Charles IV, as well as to the Czech military history of the second half of 14. century.
