This bachelor thesis is focused on brand name, its creating and evaluating. In the theoretical section it explains the concept of branding and it formulates the methods and procedures in the process of creation and brand valuation. The thesis is also focused on the role of brands in the formulation of institutional marketing strategies. The practical section contains an analysis of the current state and brand analysis of NetWings solutions s.r.o. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to propose additional procedures in the process of maintaining and brand valuation.

This diploma work focuses on the issue of valuation of a company and implementing the theoretical findings obtained through various methods into the specific situation of CS Expres joint-stock company which transports individual packages. The practical part of the work provides financial and strategical analysis of the company. The valuation of the company suggestion is carried out with the help of theoretical methods, but also by establishment of specific criteria which can be used to estimate the real price of the company.

Master´s thesis deals with electro-designers addressing concept proposal by the Automation and drives division of Siemens company. Actual state in the company has been explored by SWOT analysis. By means of questionnaire investigation, main criteria according to which the electro-designers are abided by during the manufacturer selection, has been established. Forcefully to these criteria, the set of measures leading to the Siemens products position by the electro-designers improvement, has been proposed. By realization of the measures, outstanding relationships improvement will happen and thus also many new customers will be won.

This graduation theses is about brand name valuation of ProLesk company. In the theoretical part is shown marketing and law conception of brand name and different methods of valuation. Marketing conception is based on the relationship product - consumer. In law conception is important the registration of brand name by national or international organisation. In the practical part is counted the value of brand name ProLesk company. There is used two methods - using royalty fees and excess return.
