Automatic Evaluation of Multi-Biometric Systems
Štupák, Richard ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis is evaluation of multi-biometric systems and types of fusion on biometric data. First part explains terms from biometric and multi-biometric systems. Next part describes concept and implementation of individual parts of application. Last part contains experiments with developed application on test data. Purpose of testing was to confirm, that application can find type of fusion with better results.
Biometrical security system
Tříska, Martin ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with coplete design and implementation of access control system.using biometrical data. System is applicable in smaller applications. The first part contains an small introduction to fingerprint acquiring/processing and also describe selection of a communication interface between terminals and host system including possible ways of embedding into devices. The next part is covered in the practical implementation in terms of both hardware and software.
Application Demonstrating Multi-Biometric Fusion
Hanák, Jaroslav ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
This work is focused on biometrics, multi-biometrics, normalization and fusion in multi-biometrics systems and their performance evaluation. It contains a brief introduction to the problem and an overview of the techniques. The aim is to design and then implement an application demonstrating the performance of systems that fall into the category of multi-modal biometric systems. Furthermore, the experiments with the database templates of multi-biometric system and the conclusion summarizes the results.
Person identification by iris
Čermák, Peter ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This work deals with biometric methods, with close aiming to identification men by the iris. It describes origins of biometric and its application in present days. It contains overview of the most used and also less known biometric methods and systems. Next aim of this work is proposal of hardware sensor of iris and simple practice of image processing
Biomethrics authentization methods
Flídr, Jakub ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Sobotka, Jiří (advisor)
The first part of this bachelor thesis includes description of elementary terms in biometrics. Different biometric methods are also described and classified there. It describes the principles of the methods and their approximate performance characteristics. In the second part, practical safety of three different biometric methods is tested. Their performance characteristics and properties are described and also the principle of attempting to mislead the methods and its success is demonstrated. The results are evaluated and recommendations for practical use of the methods is given there. The last part of the thesis evaluates the experience gained in the design of a safe authentication system.
