The repair procedure of the press frame
Švarc, Lukáš ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is dealing with the repair procedure of the cracked ram of the press – machine parts made from gray cast iron by casting. The ram is a part of the repaired forming press LET 160. The presented work contains an overview and analysis of the technologies of repair of cast iron by welding. On the basis of the theoretical part is designed the procedure of repairing. The aim of the experimental tests is selecting the most suitable additional materiál and verifying the proposed welding process. The welding method was selected by a low preheating manual metal arc. All the pWPS were prepared for the welding of all test specimens. Experimental samples were subjected to visual, macroscopic, microscopic analysis and hardness measurement. Based on the results of the experiments was suggested a welding repair procedure with a pWPS.

Aspekty spermatologického vyšetření čerstvého ejakulátu beranů
Weberová, Gabriela
The diploma thesis deals with the ram genital organs, hormonal regulation, sperm production and ejaculate. Practically were made preparations of rams before collecting semen, semen collection and ways of obtain semen. Further were evaluated quality native ram semen by macroscopically and microscopically methods. Evaluated material was obtained from zwartbles rams breed owned by Ing. Martin Hošek, Ph.D. All the ejaculate was immediately after collection examined macroscopically and microscopically. The volume of ejaculate, wave movement and activity of sperm were evaluated. Subsequently ejaculate transported was to the laboratory department of livestock reproduction of the Department of Animal Breeding Faculty of Agronomy, Mendel University in Brno. There was also assessed the concentration of sperm was made chill survival test when ejaculate was stored at 3 °C and the results were evaluated after 24 and 48 hours. There were also evaluated morphological coatings, which monitored defects of the head, acrosome defects, defects in the flagellum, immature sperm cells, sperm cells degeneration and normal sperm. The results show that the volume of the obtained sperm has an effect on genetic line, season, frequency of colection and age groups. For semen quality were proven decisive sampling sequence which had the effect of sperm concentration and survivability.
Hodnocení kvality ejakulátu beranů získaných různými metodami odběru
Filipi, Helena
The aim of the thesis was to focus on the evaluation of ejaculate quality from rams obtained by various methods of sampling and description of ejaculate collection methods in male farm animals with a focus on small ruminants. The ejaculate collection method of rams in the zwartbles breed did not affect ejaculate parameters. A significant difference was found in the volume of ejaculate, and also in other indicators of ejaculate quality, for example in sperm activity, as well as in eddy motion, sperm concentration and percentage of morphologically normal spermatozoa. The most significant difference seems to be in sperm concentration; in other indicators, differences do not have such an impact on the production of insemination doses and practical utility in reproduction. The effect of the ejaculate collection method on rams was also evident in short-term preservation in commercial diluent and pasteurized milk.
Violin Teaching Methods With the Focus on the Suzuki Method and Colourstrings Method
Kořenová, Zuzana ; Perglerová, Marka (advisor) ; Kubátová, Gabriela (referee)
The Diploma Thesis addresses the methods of teaching playing the violin and related teaching materials. The first part of the Thesis is devoted to traditional Czech schools, which are at the moment the most common resource material used at the Czech ZUS basic fine arts schools. I briefly introduce methodical materials intended for the education of beginners by Josef Micka and Magdalena Micková, Otakar Ševčík, Jan Čermák and Jaroslav Beran, Zdeněk Gola and Eva Bublová. The second part, being the centrepiece of the Thesis, is focused on two pedagogical methods which are non-Czech by origin - namely the Suzuki method and the Colourstrings method. Shinichi Suzuki created his method in post-war Japan and his accent in teaching playing an instrument is in the development of the potential of a person as well as the society, not really achieving true mastery in violin playing. The Thesis includes a description of its cornerstones and foundations. The last method addressed in the Thesis is the Colourstings method, emerging partly from the Suzuki method. Its author, Géza Szilvay, created it for his daughter, now a professional violinist. Szilvay is currently heavily involved in a tour of lectures on musical pedagogy and long-distance teaching projects. He is based at The East Helsinki Music Institute and...

Bohemian Rome
Petiška, Eduard ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor) ; Půtová, Barbora (referee)
Cultural elements which originated from Rome, broke through into many cultures of the world. Their influence also affected cultures of central Europe - the Czech culture being one of them. The theme of this work is the analysis of the fundamental knots of the Czech culture and the culture presented by Rome. The main attention is paid to the more general and oldest themes mentioning the theoretical concesequences concerning culturology. The first part of this work is devoted to the oldest evidence of any relationship between the two locations. Following that, the chapter about Marobudov, which is the former citizen of Rome, who enriched his empire with elements of ancient culture. Cyril and Metoděj - a famous pair of Czech statehood establishers. This work is focused on the two brothers trip and stay in Rome, being a part of their missions success. Some of the famous Czech saints St. Václav and St. Vojtěch had a very warm relationship with Rome, which projected into their lives - the way of thinking and actions, which significantly affected the Czech culture. Two chapters are therefore dedicated to the mentioned figures, describing evidence of their relationship with the municipality. A considerable amount of attentions is paid to Charles the IVth, who undertook many trips to Rome and was fascinated...
Estimation of Genetic Parametrs in Selected Reproduction Traits of Sheep and Revision of Existing Evaluation of Animals
Schmidová, Jitka ; Vostrý, Luboš (advisor) ; Jan, Jan (referee)
The objective of this investigation was to select the proper model for genetic parameter estimation, to estimate genetic parameters, and to predict breeding values for litter size in most common sheep breeds in Czech Republic. A total of 143 896 lambing records from 1990 to 2012 were analysed. Variance components and genetic parameters for litter size were estimated separately for each breed using the BLUP animal model with repeatability. The basic model equation contained ewe age as a fixed effect and random effects of contemporary group, permanent environment and direct additive genetic effect of the animal. Modifications of the basic model were examined when various combinations of mating effects were included (contemporary group of ewes during mating (harem), additive genetic and permanent environmental effect of service ram). Estimates of phenotype variance increased across breeds (0.236 for Šumava to 0.779 for Romanov) with increasing breed average for number of lambs per litter. Variance component estimates for permanent environmental effect of the ewe were low (0.0001 to 0.0262). The variance of common environment of contemporary group (from 0.0223 to 0.1309) had bigger influence on the total variability of litter size in almost all studied breeds then additive genetic variance (from 0.0146 to 0.0587). The lowest heritability and repeatability estimates were for the Šumava (h2=0.0619; w2=0.0823) and Romney breeds (h2=0.0626; w2=0.0811); while the highest were for Merinolandschaf (h2=0.1091; w2 = 0.1129). The effect of service ram ranged from 0.01 to 0.02 of phenotypic variance in Šumava sheep, in Romanov sheep it was from 0.05 to 0.10, and in Suffolk sheep it was from 0.04 to 0.05. Including effects of mating (service sire, harem, and/or ram´s permanent environmental effect) in the model decreased deviance information criterion, what means that these models are more proper than the basic one. Results from present study demonstrate that genetic parameters did differ among the investigated breeds, which should be taken into account in breeding value estimation. The service rams have low but a clearly detectable influence on litter size of their mates. Genetic parameter estimates indicate that direct selection on the service ram effect could increase litter size and achieve genetic gain through ram selection.
