This thesis deals with the allotment procedures. An overview of statutory instruments regarding the allotment procedures arranged in time periods was compiled. The allotment procedure was carried out diferrently in different regions. The thesis deals with the contemporary register, the use of allotment. A sample of solving the subject using a survey sketch is presented.

Expulsion of the German population from the area of Czech Canada in the years 1945-1952

This bachelor thesis elaborates on the topic of the transfer of the German population in the period 1945-1952 from the area of Czech Canada in the South Bohemian Region. The work monitors not only the changes in the demographic structure of the population, but also the issue of extinct municipalities due to the construction of the border zone. In addition to the historical context, the transformation of Czech Canada as a physical-geographical area is also monitored here. Last but not least, the author analyzes Czech-German-Austrian relations as an important aspect in current foreign and economic policy.

Transformation and progress of international relationships between Sudetendeutsche landsmannschaft and Czech Republic in 1990-2015

This bachelor thesis focuses on activities of Sudetendeutsche landsmannschaft and its influence on czech-german relationships in 1990-2015. Sudetendeutsche landsmannschaft is organization, which covers and defends the interests of German citizens, who were displaced or fled from czech teritory because of world war II. Thesis summarizes most important events, which had an impact on international relationships of Czech republic and Germany. In the first part there are definitions of Sudetenland and Sudeten German, which are the main keys to this thesis. Then I will describe the founding of organisation which represents Sudeten German, structure of this organization and program 20 points. In next chapter I analyze events during years 1990-2015, which begin of the fall of the communism in Czechoslovakia in 1989. Important event for czech-german relationships was completion of Czech-german declaration in 1997. Next chapters are for example about entry of Czech republic to Europen Union, ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon and presidential election in 2013. Great success was speech of prime minister Petr Nečas in Bavarian parliament in 2013, because in next years was changed code of rules of Sudetendeutsche landsmannschaft. The final part is about my hypothesis and about summary knowledge

The Attitudes of the Witnesses to the Transfer of the Germans from Czechoslovakia after the Second World War

This diploma thesis is focused on the attitudes of the witnesses to the transfer of Germans from Czechoslovakia after the second world war (WWII). The aim of the thesis are attitudes of the eye witnesses of the incidents of the WWII and incidents that happened directly after the WWII to this issue, as well as to find out why is this their attitude and if this attitude wasn't possibly changed in passing years. The work consists of a contextual part, where is analyzed relevant literature and where is created a picture of the context of the times before the transfer and the times of the transfer and all this in the light of nationalist phenomenon. The work also contains a research part of a qualitative survey, an empirical survey. The research approach is biographical approach and narative and narative semistructured interviews were chosen as a data collective method. The research as well as its subsequent analysis are based on the methodological literature.

Development of relations between the Czech Republic and the Sudeten German Homeland Association (Sudeten German Landsmannschaft) after 2004

The Bachelor Thesis "Development of relations between the Czech Republic and the Sudeten German Homeland Association (Sudeten German Landsmannschaft) after 2004" deals with the transformation of relations of these parties after 2004, respectively the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. The chosen method of elaboration of this bachelor thesis is a case study with diachronic and synchronous comparison. The first part describes the position of the Association within the Federal Republic of Germany, respectively Bavaria and its development. This part includes description of the main requirements, its course and important persons of the Association and analysis of its negotiating position. The second chapter deals with the development of relations between the Association and the Czech Republic at the presidential level in the context of selected important events. The central part of this chapter is the approach of the Czech Presidents to the Sudeten German question represented by Bernd Posselt. The last chapter, on the contrary, deals with the level of government relations in the context of these events. Post-war confiscation in the context of monument preservation

This thesis deals with the fate of the confiscated monuments nationalized by presidential decrees (no. 12/1945 and No. 108/1945) in 1945 within the Liberec region. The first part analyzes the wider cultural and historical milieu of the region, especially phenomena related to the expulsion of Germans and the issue of postwar confiscation generally. It focuses on the actual effect of the decrees issued by President Benes and also on the process of the establishment of state institutions for administration of confiscated property. The following part of the work is dedicated to the system of national administration of confiscated property of high artistic value (especially objects which belonged to displaced families). This part of the thesis is based primarily on preserved documents of the state organizations operating with the confiscated property after World War II, such as the National Cultural Commission (stemming from the so called Reinsurance Commission), or the State Heritage Institute. These sources include various directives, transfer protocols, correspondence, etc. Overall, the aim of the thesis is to provide a detailed analysis of the process of systematical gathering and administration of a property seized from displaced persons in a particular region in Bohemia. Czechoslovak-Hungarian relations in 1945-1948

The main objective of this work is to analyze the Czechoslovak-Hungarian relations in the period 1945-1948, especially in terms of the political and ethnic development in both countries. After the end of the Second World War Czechoslovakia got to the side of the victorious countries, while Hungary found themselves among the defeated states. Hungary, in a reflection of the Czechoslovak policy bore its responsibility for conflicts such as those associated with the Vienna arbitration in 1938, and conflicts associated with belonging to the Hungarian national minority to Czechoslovakia. To the forefront of the Czechoslovak- Hungarian relations has gotten the solution of minority issues which were dealt by Košice government program and by decrees of the President Edvard Beneš. Czechoslovak-Hungarian relations began to become sharper at the bilateral level, and because of other side-effects - involuntary deportation of the Hungarian minority populations, prepared and negotiated exchange of population, transfer to the forced labor on the Czech border, forced reslovakization of Hungarian minority living in Czechoslovakia. "Es kommt der Tag...Heim ins Reich?" Expulsion of Sudeten Germans from Czechoslovakia on example of town Prachatice

Presented diploma thesis with name "Es kommt der Tag...Heims ins Reich?" Expulsion of Sudeten Germans from Czechoslovakia on example of town Prachatice introduces in detail, on the basis of still existing archival materials with normality, steps against people with German nationality after the end of the Second World War. The issue was restriction of their own rights, loss of Czechoslovakia citizenship, in some cases also of freedom, their categorization, assembly for expulsion purpose and transfer of these persons outside borders of Czechoslovakia. The thesis describes in detail course of expulsion, from genesis of this idea to its assertion and preparation to its actual realization. Important part of this thesis is its subsequent application of the presented general facts at specific place town Prachatice. Thanks to it an extensive list with names of German citizens divided according to individual despatched transports and according to original house's numbers of people, who were put in these transports, was created.
