MIL real time simulation of electrical motors
Bartík, Ondřej ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is how to implement the two different types of the electric alternate motors in ZYNQ-7000 device for MIL real-time simulation purposes. The chosen types of motors are BLDC motor and AC induction motor. Mathematics models of these motor, the necessary changes for implementation purposes and the way how the models were implemented in ZYNQ-7000 device are described in this work. Three different experimental MIL simulation, using these motors ae described at the end of this thesis.
Quadcopter design and utilization with the use of Arduino Due
Majer, Dominik ; Olejár, Adam (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about design of usable prototype of quadrocopter using standard RC components, with Arduino Due control unit and gyroscope with MPU6050. Main goal is the fully functional prototype with feature for reduction of barriers collision possibility, using ultrasonic sensors. The first part of thesis is the description of each component and their cooperation. The second part describes final solution, flowchart, source code with problems arisen. Source code is written in programming language Arduino, which is based on Wiring language. Further the brief analysis of autonomous flight of quadrocopter is done, particulary with GPS module and possible brief design of this idea. Finally the analysis of basic options of telemetry transmission, such as GSM module, wi-fi, bluetooth, are analysed.
Universal BLDC motor controller
Pijáček, Ondřej ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of universal control unit for BLDC motor powered from airplane power distribution system of 28 V capable of driving motor up to 10 A. The maximal engine power is about 250 W. Important prerequisite is possibility of driving various motor size without needs of changing wiring board using only the configuration in the auxiliary memory unit. To control different motors is enough one unit with one program without any way to interfere to the unit itself.
Suggestion of electric scooter
Lamberský, Václav ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Synek, Miloš (advisor)
The topic of this master thesis is the design of electric scooter. In the first part of this thesis consists if research of used structural designs and driver types. In following chapters are calculations and selection procedures of the electric motor, batteries and other accessories. Results from previous chapters were used to created complete 3D model of scooter in SolidWorks software. Based on the model, complete technical drawings were created.
FPGA application for control and modelling of BLDC motor
Sova, Václav ; Toman, Jiří (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
Thesis deals with the challenges in the field of BLDC motors control with the utilization of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). Using the modular dSPACE hardware with the FPGA board, these issues are solved: sensored and sensorless control, real-time simulation of BLDC motor and control of BLDC motor in degraded mode. FPGA design is made using the System Generator for DSP from Xilinx. The side effect of work is to show that with the expansion of high-level tools for FPGA design, the implementation of algorithms for FPGA is relatively quick and efficient and does not require years of experience and big knowledge of field programmable gate arrays. The implementation of algorithms on FPGA instead of processors brings many advantages, in the first place the high speed processing and low latency.
Sensorless control of BLDC motor
Križan, Jakub ; Toman, Jiří (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This thesis is focused on problematics of control of brushless DC motor in the sensor and also in the sensorless mode. Also it interprets possibilities of BLDC motor control with one faulty sensor and derivation and simulation of mathematical model. First part mentions options of rotor position sensing as well as existing methods of sensorless BLDC motor control. Second part describes control algorithms of sensor and sensorless motor control realised on device dSPACE and also realisation of faulty sensor control algorithm. Third part deals with derivation of mathematical model, its realisation using Matlab Simulink software and identification of its parameters. Last part concludes results and compares control methods used on the real system.
Modeling and simulation of EC motor vector control in Simulink environment
Hořava, Jan ; Szabó, István (referee) ; Toman, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of my work is the electrically commutated motor with the vector control’s application in the environment of Matlab – Simulink. The theoretical preamble of this document is dedicated to the physical construction of the EC motors. The most common methods are described in the following text – namely it is scalar control, direct torque control and vector control. The conclusion of this work includes the description and analyse of the single parts of a created model of concrete EC motor with the vector control, and simulations results’ evaluation.
Design of electronic speed controller for BLDC motor used in quadrocopter
Libicher, Radek ; Buchta, Luděk (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of the electronic speed controller for a BLDC motor that will be used in a quadcopter. The first part of the thesis explains the methods of control and sensorless commutation respectively. The following part describes the design of the hardware controller. The control firmware was programmed and debugged for this controller.
Compact inverter for BLDC motor
Nevřivý, Tomáš ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
The work describes the design and implementation of compact inverter for brushless DC motor, which have mechanical power 600 W and rated torque 1.6 Nm. Motor is designed for DC link voltage with value 300 V. The focus is placed on the cost and simplicity. On this basis, the inverter is designed for uses single purpose power and control circuit. The power part is solved using a circuit FSBB15CH60C. The circuit is placed on a separate board of power electronics. Cooling of the power circuit is performed by the surface structure of BLDC motor. Control of the inverter ensures circuits LB11696V and NE566. The both circuits are placed on separate board of control electronics. Circuit LB11696V contains a control algorithm, as well as protections, which are necessary for safe operation of the inverter. Power supply of electronics is performed using step-down converter from MYRRA company.
