Docking Station for Automatic Charging of Batteries of Robot
Beran, Jan ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a functional docking and charging system for the Trilobot robot, which is improved and modified for use in future projects as a part of this thesis. The theoretical part discusses the path planning methods, battery types and charging methods, types of docking stations and the charging method itself. Also, a robot refurbishment design is presented, which is then implemented, along with the docking station. The refurbished robot has functional control software in the ROS framework, which allows it to perform not only the task of autonomous battery charging. In this thesis, a test of the whole system is also performed and the results are evaluated.
Application of MATLAB Coder for automatic generation of C code for dsPIC microcontrollers
Mácha, Tomáš ; Křivánek, Václav (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
Generating C code from MATLAB can be a powerful tool for a wide range of engineering problems. Especially in cases where MATLAB excels, including matrix operations and some of the built-in functions, code conversion may represent a significant assistance in their development. The aim of this master's thesis is to explore the possibilities of generating C code using MATLAB Coder App. As the documentation for MATLAB Coder was not found sufficient a theoretical basis for the use of this tool was introduced along with simple examples of possible applications. Next, code generation for controlling a laboratory DC motor using a microcontroller dsPIC was made automatic and controlled directly from a single MATLAB script. Individual steps were described to supplement existing documentation and to allow for an easy use. Finally, selected functions were tested for code generation. As a result, certain limitations can be outlined, as well as suitability of both the created tool and the MATLAB Coder App.
Lighting LED module for contactless measurement of physiological parameters
Byrtus, David ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of the illumination LED module for contactless measurement of basic physiological parameters. Contactless methods is based on the fotopletysmografických methods. The acquisition parameters used video camera for monitoring body part of the patient. Designed lighting LED module is used to enhance the optical signal with respect to quantum efficiency of the camera used. The acquired video sequences are then programmatically processed, analyzed, and the result is an estimate of the measured parameter.
Design of Measuring and Recording System for 100 kV AC/DC Haefely KIT
Sirotsin, Aliaksandr ; Pelikán, Luděk (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is devoted to the design of a measuring and recording system for a 100 kV construction KIT. It describes the Haefely KIT 100kV, reveals the analysis of the principle of the operation of the measuring instrument DMI 551 and the design of the measuring system. In addition to it this work presents the calculation of harmonic distortion, ripple, peak, mean and rms values from the measured data and their measurement. The practical part of the thesis is completed with verifying the individual functional parts of the measuring system, including calibration.
Energy efficient office building with gym and wellness Kostka
Kotas, Marek ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The master thesis describes a complete design of an office building, including its technical equipment. The building's technical equipment contains HVAC, lighting, DHW and photovoltaics design, water demand. The building has two floors. It contains offices, a bistro with a lounge, a wellness area and two gyms, a children's playground and facilities. This master thesis is divided into three parts. Firstly, the thesis presents building documentation with an engineering and an accompanying report. Secondly, the thesis introduces the design of the building's technical equipment and engineering reports. Lastly, the results of a conducted experiment are presented. In this experiment, a system for the optimization of blind tilt angle is proposed.
