Design of automatic multichannel pipetting head
Suchý, Adam ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of the diploma thesis is to make a multi-channel pipetting end effector , which could be used with a collaborative robot YuMi IRB 14000 from ABB company. The main task is to ensure the precise dosing of the liquid medium by using the pneumatic piston approach. The next phase of the thesis requires the production of a functioning prototype with a control system for the proposed device with the help of a 3D printer , whose functionality needs to be tested along with the cooperative robot YuMi.
Floorball stick motion sensor
Hunkařová, Nikol ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with accelerometer and gyroscopic data during floorbal shot using the Arduino platform and the Matlab programming language. The theory of floorball, features and proper hole selection are included in this study. There are also described components for measuring and wireless transmission of accelerometer and gyroscopic data using the Arduino platform. The components are inserted into the shaft of the floorball stick. Data from the Arduino are transfered to the Matlab programming language using the Bluetooth module HC-05. The Matlab is used for processing and displaing gyroscopic and accelometric data. Graphical user interface is created for data measuring processing and displaying. Three types of shots are compared as well as beginner and advanced player shots measured by motion sensor.
Electronic Xylophone
Weyrová, Dominika ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement an electronic xylophone, which will be driven by Arduino or appropriately chosen programmable controller. Xylophone will be particularly suitable for promotional purposes.
Hardware Chess Implementation
Zajíc, Roman ; Žák, Marek (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and the subsequent production of the electronic chessboard. The emphasis was placed on the resulting chessboard so that it was as similar as possible to the classic chessboard. In particular, to restrict players as little as possible during playing. The clock module is used for controlling of the chessboard, it, except the time switch, contains also a screen and keyboard controls. WeMos R1 mini, in combination with three Arduinos Nano, serves as the main controller of this board. Two of these Arduinos Are used for detection of pieces and signalization on the board itself. The third Arduino Is used for controlling of the chess clock and adjusting the chessboard settings.
Heating System Central Compatible with eQ-3 Platform
Kažimír, Miroslav ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
Efficient heating management can contribute to significant energy savings and by that to save the environment. This bachelor thesis deals with design and implementation of a functional prototype of the central for heating control based on Raspberry Pi 3 platform, which is used for wireless management of the eQ-3 MAX! system's radiator thermostatic heads. Part of the work is also the creation of a thermostat that measures air temperature and relative humidity. The user has ability to pair devices with central unit and control the system via the web interface. The resulting central unit can be installed alongside another application on the Raspberry platform, which makes it possible to save money. At the same time, the work enriches the eQ-3 protocol reverse engineering community.
Optical device for breath CO2 concentration analysis
Škorpík, Daniel ; Milek, Jakub (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This Master's thesis discusses about the measurement of the carbon dioxide concentration in breathing by an optical analyzer using infrared absorption spectroscopy. The method is described with the technical focus on individual components needed for subsequent implementation. A circuit diagram is created to produce Arduino platform devices that serve as hardware to connect and power individual parts and software to create a user environment, followed by a Bluetooth module to transmit measured data to mobile devices where real-time results are presented.
Testbed for remote vehicle speed limitation
Šíma, Jindřich ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on planing and realisation of workplace for remote vehicle speed limitation. In the theoretical part there is an analysis of intelligent transportation systems, on-board units, messages in the communication of units and the Vanetza library, which implements standards for communication of units. Practical part consists of planing and realisation of workplace for remote vehicle speed limitation, description of workplace components, the procedute for setting it up, capturing and analyzing communication in the workplace.

Family house automation system
Heczko, Dominik ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
The thesis deals with the automation of a family house. After an introduction to different automation options, a system based on an open-source project Home Assistant is proposed. Commercially available devices are connected to this system to provide control of appropriate functions. For each device, the configuration procedure is described. Furthermore, a prototype of a smart lighting controller and a smart thermometer is designed and built.
Security of EDGE sensors
Jančík, David ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (referee) ; Ilgner, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the security of EDGE sensors on the Raspberry Pi platform, which is used to store sensitive data on disk. In this thesis, the test device is Raspberry Pi 4. First, it examines and implements an SD card security module from Swissbit, Swissbit PS-45u, and Zymkey 4i from Zymbit. With the knowledge of Zymkey i4 and Swissbit to design and implement its own physical security module. Authentication is handled using smart cards that support the NFC communication. The components powered on the prototype board are an Arduino Nano, an accelerometer and a gyroscope, two connecting wires, two LEDs and an NFC interface.
