Multimedia language support of DSP in German
Škůrek, Pavel ; Vídenka, Rostislav (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the work is to provide a German speaking student with a simple and well-arranged list of terms, that appear in the sphere of mathematics, physics and the digital signal processing. Each terms are not explained in a difficult way. Mostly, there is only the basic definition, what the term means, or his function. This mean that this work can´t be taken as a textbook, but only a first aid for a funbling student. The work id divided into 3 databases. The first database Mathematik contains the list of all mathematical terms and relations at the level of secondary school. The database contains these chapters: Grundbegriffe, Mathematische Logik, Funktion, Trigonometrie des rechtwinkligen Dreiecks, kongruennte Darstellung im Ebene, ähnliche Darstellung im Ebene, Trigonometrie, komplexen Zahlen, Logarithmus, Vektor, analytische Geometrie, Folge, Differenzrechnung und Integralgleichung, Matrizen, Determinante, Kombinatorik a Wahrscheinlichkeit. The second database Physik contains the basic physical quantities, the student should know before entering the university. The database contains these chapters: Kinematik, Dynamik, Mechanik der starken Körper, Mechanik der Flüssigkeit, Elektizität, Magnetismus, Optik and Thermodynamik. The last database DSP is divided into 4 parts. It is divided by functionals blocks of each transmission and it is explaining each terms. They are Antialiasing, Analog-digital Wandler, Digital-analog Wandler and Spektral analysis. By this database, there is well-arranged czech - german and german - czech dictionary. These 3 databases are worked by the programm C++ Builder. The user can open each databese separately. All databases contain functions like for example searching, viewing the terms by tree structure, similar themes and so on. In the last database the user can add and change his own terms.
Photorealistic Rendering
Lysek, Tomáš ; Kučiš, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis describes implementation of photorealistic method. The first part describes the procedures and techniques, that are used to display photorealistic scenes such as raytracing, radiosity or photon mapping and other techniques used in computer graphics. The second part of thesis is focused on evaluation of current state of problem. In this part is also described reason of choosing this topic and thesis assignment is there more specified. The last part of thesis is focused on implementation details of photorealistic method.
Texture Mapping
Strach, Zdeněk ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
In this master's thesis I'm engaged in problematic of texture mapping in ray tracing. Ray tracing is shortly described in the beginning. Texture mapping methods are described then, solid textures first and 2D textures follow. Implementation of MIP map method is deeply described in next chapters. The results are evaluated at the end.
Comparison of Shadow Methods
Kiss, Marcel ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Tóth, Michal (advisor)
This thesis talks about comparison of shadow casting techniques within a scene. In the theoretical part, it describes and compares possible solutions of shadow casting and more detailed about Shadow Mapping and Shadow Volumes, which are among the most commonly used real-time shadowing techniques. The main part is about design and implementation of these two shadow methods using the OpenGL library. In the measurement part it compares methods based on measured values. The outcome of my measurements can be found in the final part of my thesis.
GPU Implementation of Resampling Antialiasing
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Lysek, Tomáš (referee) ; Starka, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the implementation of resampling antialiasing for OpenGL. This thesis is based on already existing solution for DirectX. We are introducing several antialiasing methods used in todays graphical aplications. Next we are describing application implementation with differences against the original solution. Our implementation of resampling antialiasing was compared with other antialiasing methods and with the original solution. Image quality and performace were evaluated.
Image Transformations
Novák, Radim ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Venera, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to introduce two fundamental geometric transformations in 2D space - by changing the resolution together with related image resampling and image rotation. Also brightness interpolation, technique of mapping and other problems related to the topic are explained there, i.e. Fourier transformations, problem with aliasing and technique of aliasing suppression.
