Smartphone security

This bachelor's thesis is focused on smartphone security risks and their solutions. The work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the theoretical background in the form of a summary version of the most popular mobile operating systems. The second part focuses on three aspects, which are linked to the security of smartphones.In this section you can find an analysis of security risks for smartphones followed by the selection of most widely used mobile operating system in which it is exploring its security against malicious applications. In conclusion to this part a security analysis of a specific smartphone application is formed. The third part of this thesis is devoted to preventing security risks in the form of antivirus applications for smartphones. Within this section is created an overview of security products and analysis of whether these products can deal with security risks. The third part also analyzes user awareness of smartphone security risks and that is obtained by evaluation of survey among users.

The goal of bachelor's thesis on the theme "Mobile marketing" is to outline its development and why is this new phenomen so important for all modern companies around the world. The work is not about simple description of mobile marketing media but it vividly informs about the latest trends and news from the world of mobile apps and games. It presents the most successful mobile apps which registered more than billion downloads and from their unique characteristics it unveils great potential of mobile marketing. The bachelor's thesis also describes its advantages and unadvantages and prove that it is an excellent tool for making a profit and glory as well as other successes connected to satisfied and loyal customers. The work in detail analyzes a real mobile development company which makes mobile games. The author takes an advantage of 10-year experience in the field of mobile marketing.
Mobile information bank

Mobile information bank is a project of unifying news generated by the University of South Bohemia, and at the same time proposing solutions of navigation between university classrooms. All information are transmitted via server to client mobile applications build upon Android platform. Designed and implemented solution can be modified and applied to other schools as well.
Development of web applications for mobile phones

This bachelor work aims to describe the technologies used for developing mobile web applications, explain the differences between developing desktop application and mobile application, and give an example of mobile application. In addition to web application are in the work also mentioned the native application. Further the work analyzes mobile platforms and devices, and describes the differences between it. For web application development are described the most frequently used frameworks such as jQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch, etc. Work also describes the development environments and emulators that support the creation of mobile web application. For a given topic, there is a very austere literature and even fewer resources in the Czech language, so I decided to prepare this topic. The goal is achieved by gradually injected in to the topic, describing the current market situation and probable development of the sector. Subsequently are processed and explained most used technologies and principles of their use, especially using the programing language JavaScript. At the end of the work is created a sample application that demonstrates the possibilities of the web and also native applications.

Bachelor thesis is devoted to suitability of mobile platforms in corporate environment. The aim was focusing on historically innovative and dominant platform Blackberry which is losing on mobile market share. The theoretical part deals with definitions of key criterion of mobile platforms for corporate purposes. Within the practical part there was made a comparison of considered mobile platforms on basis defined criteria in theoretical part. Their strengths and weaknesses were revealed as a result of complex comparison regarding production implementation.

Overview of platforms for mobile application development

This bachelor work deals with the evaluation of mobile platforms from the perspective of mobile applications developers. The aim of this thesis is to establish criteria for mobile platform evaluating from the per-spective of novice developer, who wants to develop applications in his free time, and to use them for comparison of selected mobile platforms so that the reader will be able to ad-just them to his preferences and then choose the best option for him. This aim was achieved by synthesis of information from Czech and foreign sources, under which were created my own recommendations for choosing a platform for mobile applications devel-opment. The thesis is structured as follows: first is captured the market share of different mobile platforms in the Czech and worldwide mobile operating systems market, then are described three major mobile platforms (Android, iOS and Windows Phone) in detail, focusing on the specifics of mobile application development, in the next chapter are defined evaluation criteria according to novice hobby developers and the conclusion is based on comparison of selected mobile platforms by the selected criteria. This thesis provides developers with the necessary information and recommendations for the choice of platform for developing mobile applications. In the Czech Republic has not been yet published any work, which compares so comprehensive the most important mo-bile platforms and evaluated them from the perspective of mobile applications developers.
Comparison of operating systems

The theme of this bachelor thesis is to compare operating system of smart phones, Symbian OS, Android, Windows phone 7 and iOS. The goal of this work is to introduce readers to individual systems and also compare them with each other. Comparison is performed in two stages, from the user and developer perspective, using predefined criteria. Contribution on this work for readers is that they can make their own opinion on individual platform according their main characteristic and they will be able to say their strength and negative.
Comparison of mobile operating systems from the perspective of the development, distribution and monetization of applications

The subject of this thesis is to compare the most widely used mobile operating systems from the perspective of the development, distribution and monetization of applications developed for these systems. Compared systems are Android, iOS, Symbian OS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry OS. The thesis defines a total of 16 criteria against which systems are compared. These criteria are further divided into three categories, namely SDK features, functionality and distribution and monetization. All criteria have assigned weights which are determined by the paired comparison method using the Fuller's triangle, which is part of the Annexes of this work. Practical part of this thesis is focused on determining the values of defined criteria. Each criterion is evaluated separately, including an analysis of results. The overall evaluation is performed in a separate part of the thesis and is composed by categories evaluation and overall evaluation.
Using Web technologies to develop mobile applications on the Android platform

Bachelor work deals with applications development for operating system Android. First defines a ways of providing applications for this platform and after that defines everything necessary for us to be able to begin development. Briefly stated the advantages and disadvantages of specific approaches and discusses the related development environments. The next chapter focuses on the main theme, which is the use of Web technologies HTML, CSS and JavaScript during application development. The possibility of linking web technology with Java applications on the client side is included. It also deals with ways to use external periphery such as camera phone or GPS. In the last chapter examines the theoretical knowledge of the first chapters of their use in practical realization of prototype application based on Web technologies and using your camera.
