Evaluation of Business Performance Through Financial Analysis Tools

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial measurement and evaluation of the stock company, Brewery Bernard a.s. using financial analysis tools for the period between 2017-2021. Based on the result, suggestions for improvement will then be presented that can help the company with its deficiencies. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the theoretical part, the different methods and indicators will be introduced and then applied to a specific company. The practical part will present the analysis of the company according to the indicators mentioned in the theoretical part. In the last part of this thesis, suggestions for improving the current state of the firm will be presented.
Financial analysis of company Kendrion (Prostějov) s. r. o.

The main aim of this Bachelor´s Thesis is an elaboration of financial situation in Kendrion (Prostějov) s. r. o. company. Subject of the analysis are years 2010 - 2014. The Bachelor´s Thesis consist of two main parts, namely in to the methodological part and the practical part. The methological part is focused on procedures for calculating individual indicators, explanation of financial terms and explanation of methods used. Practical part is focused on company introduction, the analysis of absolute ratios and financial ratios, Du Pont analysis, Altman bankruptcy model and comparasion with a competitors. In the conclusion there is a summarization of the results of the financial analysis.
The financial analysis of HOCHTIEF CZ, a. s.

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is a financial analysis of the company HOCHTIEF CZ a. s. between years 2009 -- 2013. The Bachelor's Thesis is divided into two main parts, namely into the methodological part and the practical part. The methodological part is focused on the outline important terms, financial indicators, models and related rules. On the contrary, the practical part uses the individual components of the methodological part that are thoroughly analyzed and interpreted by the author. Specifically, the practical part is mainly concentrated on the analysis of absolute indicators, financial ratios, net working capital, the calculation of economic value added and application bankruptcy model. In order to evaluate the possibility of bankruptcy of the company was chosen the Z -- score formula for predicting bankruptcy by Edward Altman. The conclusion highlights the most important facts, the strenghts and weaknesses of the company and the evaluation of financial health. The author also adds created recommendations for company management and personal prediction about the situation in the construction industry in the near future.
Ability of creditworthy and bankruptcy models to predict problems in the enterprise

This thesis deals with analysis of creditworthy and bankruptcy models. The aim is to analyze how are individual creditworthy and bankruptcy models able to predict problems in the company. Creditworthy and bankruptcy models are applied to 25 companies, which were facing problems during their life. These are mainly limited liability companies, but also there are joint-stock companies. A total of five sectors is analyzed. Manufacturing industry, construction, wholesale and retail trade, transportation and warehousing and professional, scientific and technical activities. Five creditworthy and bankruptcy models are analyzed: Altman model, model IN05, Taffler model, Springate analysis and balance analysis system according to Rudolf Doucha, which is used in two variants.

This bachelor study is focusing on the financial analysis of the company STUDENT AGENCY Ltd during the period 2005 - 2008. This study is divided into two individual parts, the methodical and calculative part. In the methodical part there are defined theoretical bases for financial analysis, the sources and the methods, which are necessary for the financial analysis. In the calculative part there is introduced the company STUDENT AGENCY Ltd and then the methods of financial analysis are used. The results are closely analyzed in the text involved. In the end there is the evaluation of the whole financial situation of analyzed company.
