Processes Supporting Decision-Making
Križan, Viliam ; Uher, Václav (referee) ; Karásek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with algorithms for supporting decision processes. Firstly, Analytic Hierachy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) developed by prof. Thomas L. Saaty are described. Basic principles and the implementation in Java programing language of the decision processes are explained. Both processes are then analyzed and their pros and cons and also practical aspect are explained. Secondly, the genetic algorithm NSGA-II developed by Kalyanmoy Deb is described. There are also basic principles and implementation in Java programing language explained. There are finaly the results of NSAG-II algorithm presented.
The Application of Evaluation Algorithm for the Rating of Suppliers of the Firm
Karásek, Jan ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is refer to the supplier evaluation and selection process in business sphere. On the business sphere is putted emphasis because securing of company sources are more and more important parts of strategic decision making. In this paper is analyzed supplier selection problem and are analyzed most common methods to determine the best supplier. The goal of this paper is proposal of own program solution of evaluation and supplier selection build on evolution methods, specifically evolution algorithms. The part of this thesis is map of theoretical possibilities of evolution algorithms and implementation of program for solving supplier selection problem.
DEMATEL method and its utilization in multi-criteria decision making
Navrátil, Michal ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Fiala, Petr (referee)
This thesis is concerned with problematics of multi-criteria decision making, especially method DEMATEL, its modifications and combinations with another methods. There is description of particular steps of this methods and selected theory from various areas, which is used in these methods. In every chapter we can find theoretical explanation of these methods, description of their steps and afterwards these theoretical findings are applied on numerical example. Firstly, the crucial method is introduced. Then this thesis is concerned with its adjustments based, on different approaches, which are often used not only in decision making. In the end, all these findings are aggregated and new method is founded.

Cytotoxicity screen of the acyclic nucleoside phosphonates against bloodstream stage of \kur{Trypanosoma brucei} and validation of their putative target hypoxanthine/xanthine/guanine phosphoribosyltransferase
MITTERMAYR, Martina
The aim of this study was to test several compounds of acyclic nucleoside phosphonates (ANPs), which are thought to inhibit the purine salvage pathway enzyme hypoxanthine/xanthine/guanine phosphoribosyltransferase (HGXPRT) of the bloodstream stage of Trypanosoma brucei. Further we intended to elucidate if HGXPRT enzymes are essential for the survival of the bloodstream T.brucei.
Analytic Network Process Method
Lesák, Petr ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Černohous, Roman (referee)
The thesis is concerned with Multi-Criteria Decision Making, in particular the Analytic Network Process method. The introductory part is dedicated to compile all the theory necessary to understand the method and utilized throughout the paper. The Analytic Hierarchy Process method is described and later generalized in the form of the ANP. Part of the paper is a description of available software products that are able to solve the ANP models. The main focus is on the application of the method, the usability and efficiency of possible use in macroeconomics is tested. In the third chapter a macroeconomic forecasting model is developed in cooperation with experts. The results of this model are compared with the best available up-to-date forecasts by local and international institutions.
Cyclic and acyclic phosphonate tyrosine ester prodrugs of acyclic nucleoside phosphonates
Williams, M. ; Krylov, I. S. ; Zakharova, V. M. ; Serpi, M. ; Peterson, L. W. ; Krečmerová, Marcela ; Kashemirov, B. A. ; McKenna, Ch. E.
A series of P-O ester derivatives of HPMPA, HPMPC, PMEA a (R)-PMPDAP was synthesized as potential anti-malarial prodrugs.
New strategies in synthesis of acyclic nucleoside phosphonate prodrugs
Krečmerová, Marcela ; Tichý, Tomáš ; Blažek, Jiří ; Pomeisl, Karel
New syntheses of acyclic nucleoside phosphonate prodrugs including dioxolenone derivatives, functionalized alkoxyalkyl esters, utilization of hexafluorophosphate coupling agents and enzymatic glycosylations were described. Comparison of antiviral activities of diverse prodrugs was performed.
9-[2-hydroxy-3-(phosphonomethoxy)propyl] ("iso-HPMP")derivatives of purine bases and their side-chain modified analogues: synthesis and antimalarial activity
Krečmerová, Marcela ; Holý, Antonín ; Hocková, Dana ; Dračínský, Martin ; Keough, D. T. ; Guddat, L. W.
Hypoxanthine and guanine iso-HPMP derivatives substsituted in 2´-position were prepared and studied as potential inhibitors of a key enzyme of the malarial parasite Plasmodium falciparum HGXPRT.
