Design and production of car model chassis parts using FDM 3D printing
Výbohová, Petra ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The object of reserach of my bachelor thesis is Fused Deposition Modeling 3D printing method. The aim of the final thesis was to design and manufacture parts of the car model chassis with remote control. The work is divided into 5 chapters. It contains 42 pictures, 4 tables and 10 attachments. The first part is dedicated to theoretical research of FDM 3D printing and FDM 3D printer. The second includes the realization of the chosen application and its technological – economic evaluation.
Braking marks creation analysis in dependence of vehicle deceleration
Svoboda, Lukáš ; Panáček, Vladimír (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
The work is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The first, theoretical part is focused to introduce the problematics to the reader, describing the concept of translation motion and brake physics, defining terms adhesion and friction, skid, calculation formulas etc. After the mechanics chapter follows the chapter about tire and its composition and properties, and a brake system chapter, describing Anti-lock brake system (ABS) and some other important brake-support systems. Second part of this thesis is focused on practical side, which contains acceleration measuring and skid marks creation, followed by evaluation of measured data in form of calculations and graphs.
Testing of selected material properties for 3D printing
Čáslavský, František ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with 3D printing, materials used for 3D printing, testing of the materials and learning their real parameters. Goal of the thesis is comparing selected materials, executing series of mechanical test and selecting suitable material for printing high-quality plastic parts for use in automobiles, especially for reproduction of parts that are no longer made for oldtimers and for use in motorsport.
Production of herringbone gears on FDM 3D printer
Čada, Jiří ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deal with an issue of manufacturing herringbone gears by Fused Deposition Modeling method. It focuses on manufacture of the gear by using FDM printing and compares it with using conventional methods from technological and economic perspectives. The gears are designed and modeled with respect to the abilities of FDM printer depending on the preservation of the components small size.
Electronic stability systems
Musil, Jan ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
In this Bachelor’s thesis there are basic electronic stability systems described. These systems are mostly used as a precaution in safety of the traffic, but also to ensure comfort of the crew. The main part of the thesis is focused on systems ABS, ASR and ESP. The other parts aim to describe additional systems, which are still in development. In the end there is also view of various individual car companies and possible steps in the future.
Present State and Development Trends of Brake System Design
Jantač, Martin ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce tendencies in the area of brakes and brake systems. It is an enumeration of the most frequently used systems, increasing traffic safety. The opening part is focused mainly on the most basic types of brake systems. In the other part, the attention was paid on ABS and BAS systems mainly.
Manufacture of connector cover
Lukeštík, Tomáš ; Ohnišťová, Petra (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The work presents a proposal for the production of the connector cover by injection molding from amorphous ABS polymer. Based on a literature study of injection technology and calculations, a two-part injection mold with four cavities, equipped with side sliding trolleys, was designed. The mold is composed of standardized components, some of which are modified. An Intec D100 / 380-B injection molding machine was chosen. The work is accompanied by drawing documentation of the assembly of the mold, molding plates and the designed side sliding trolleys.
Brake systems for heavy commercial vehicles
Andrle, David ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to create a comprehensive overview of freight vehicle brake systems. The thesis is divided into six major parts. The first part deals with a brief history of the development of brakes. The second part focuses on the basic division of brake systems according to their use and energy source. The following part describes the indirect brake system. The fourth part deals with the individual types of retarder braking systems. The fifth part deals with the electric brake system and its subsystems. The last part focuses on the possible trends in the development of brake systems.
Comfort and Safety Systems - Diagnostic Methods
Slíž, Martin ; Lapčík, Josef (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This work deals with the division and description of the safety featutes of vehicles. Gradual entry into the safety of the crew of the car, from simple to very complex safety systems. The first part of this work deals with the basic division of safety features to active and passive systems. Here summarizes the most frequently used systems, their advantages and disadvantages. In the second part is described in detail system ABS (Anti-lock system), principle of operation, construction and other features of the system. The third part deals with the diagnosis of failures of security systems. It also included the creation of disorders, their symptoms and solutions. The last part of the two concrete examples of the use of diagnostic measurement system for ABS.
Production of designed quadracopter using rapid prototyping
Melša, Jan ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Design and manufacturing of a quadrocopter prototype using the Rapid Prototyping additive technology – the Fused Deposition Modeling method – is the goal of this Bachelor’s Thesis. The Thesis describes the process the prototype has to go through from the 3D computer model, through production settings down to the production itself. The individual prototype models have been created using the Creo Parametric software and they are adapted to the real components of a functional quadrocopter. The Thesis ends with a technical-economic assessment.
