Production of the gutter hook

This bachelor thesis introduces a gutter hook technology production design made of 5 mm thick 11 321 steel sheet. Progressive die tool shearing and bending was chosen as the best production technology. Technology and structure calculations were done for this method. A three step hole punching bender tool has been designed. HMG 100 press produced by TVARtech company – stroje s.r.o. with a coil feeding line by Coiltech company was chosen for production in accordance with the power requirements.
Manufacturing of castor holder

The thesis solves the design of the technology of manufacturing the furniture wheel holder from a sheet thickness of 11 321 with a thickness of 2 mm. On the basis of the variant cutting and bending solution, a production solution was chosen in a process proggressive die. As a blank, a sheet metal strip is selected from a 64.1 mm roll. After the technology evaluation, the distances of the openings from the edge of the part and the bend were adjusted and the technological calculations determined the necessary total forces, work and other parameters. On the basis of the previous calculations, the S 160 E eccentric press of Šmeral was chosen as the most suitable machine. The designed tool works in six steps and includes nine cutting and one bending section together with two viewers and one spring retainer. Economic recovery has shown profitable production of the given series where the total profit is CZK 999 310,61 and the reversal point occurs after production 58 382 pieces.
Manufacturing of fitting door

This bachelor thesis is focused on the design of the technology of the production of the locks lock plate. The component is made from 11 321 steel in form of scroll with 1,5mm width. Produciton series is 35,000 pcs/year. From the considered procution technologies is cutting and bending in progressive die tool the best. After determining the dimensions of the developed shape was suitable technological proces chosen. Acording to that is desired shape achived in four steps.Based on the performed calculation was combined tool constructed. Component will be manufactured at the eccentric press S 160 E from Šmeral Brno a.s. This press satisfies with dimensions of the tool and also with necessary forming force. The sale price is 20,4 Kč with 70%profit included. Production becomes profitable after exceeding 16 054 pieces.
Cutting as a finishing operation

The project elaborated design of technology production of the cutting by shaving operation. The component is made from sheet iron 11 321. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the shaving and calculation was designed two operations of shaving. Recommended production choice was tool with nominal cutting force 173 kN in first operation and 68 kN in second operation.
Manufacturing of a hinge

The project presents design of technology production of the hinge made of metal sheet plate 11 321. The variant proposed solutions have been designed manufacturing cutting and bending technology in transfer combined die. These themes were elaborated in literatures studies. As a working machine was selected eccentric press LEN 40 C of Slovak producer TOMA INDUSTRIES s.r.o., Trnava, with a nominal force 400 kN. Functional parts are made of tool steel 19 436. In economic results was defined cost of one piece including manufacturers profit and the break-even point, which is coming after production of 151 966 pieces.
Laser cutting with air pressure assistance

This project, elaborated within the engineering studies (code of field of study: N2301), deal with air supported laser cutting and its practical usage in industry. The project is divided into theoretical and experimental sections, consisting of detailed description of several successive steps of the experiment. The theoretical section describes the principle and function of laser, individual types of lasers and their classification, laser beam properties, laser cutting, etc. The practical part is focused on finding of a set of optimal cutting parameters, assessment of results of air supported laser cutting in terms of quality and accuracy of cutting surface. This part is followed by comparison of cutting surfaces with a conventional technology of laser cutting that uses oxygen and nitrogen. Final part of the project evaluates applicability of this unconventional technology from the economic point of view.
