Bakalářská práce je zaměřena nejprve na charakteristiku štíhlého podniku, dále na jednotlivé principy Lean. Podrobně jsou rozvedeny ty prvky, jež se v současné době v BAEST, a.s., právě zavádějí nebo v nejbližší době plánují implementovat a jimž se blíže věnuji v praktické části. Těmito prvky jsou štíhlé pracoviště, TPM a KAIZEN. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou jednotlivých prvků a návrhem zlepšení systému daného principu nebo jeho implementace.

In-plant logistics optimalization

In a theoretical part of this work there is introduced a general view on logistics and its development, than a view on creating value for customer, basics of lean production, lean thinking and following methods as Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping. At the end of the theoretical part there is mentioned outsourcing of logistics services and view on relationship between logistics provider and a client. In a practical part there is introduced a project of in-plant logistics optimalization in a factory producing steel pannels for MINI Cooper production. At the beginning there is introduced the factory itself, logistics services provider and a background of the project birth. Than there is a step by step description of a work on the project respecting a DMAIC methodology, it means that it's a classical example of a Six Sigma project using a Value stream mapping tool.

The aim of this thesis was to characterize lean production and kanban method in TRW Carr, s.r.o., Stará Boleslav. The thesis describes current firm situation with focus on kanban method. The another aim was to propose possible improvements. In the thesis are proposed solutions, successfully implemented in different plants. The thesis also include totaly new proposals, which can be implemented only in concrete plant. The last aim of this thesis was to find more effective system and implement new trends, if possible.

Master Thesis studies integrated Supply Chains and their particularities in the automotive industry and searches for ways how to rationalize them. It aims to find means how to make the lead times shorter, with the focus on an automobile producer in an effort to increase its competitiveness. It is geared to identify points in its Supply Chain, where flaws and errors or delays in the process of customer order fulfillment might occur. It also concentrates on the possibility of managing customer demand. The Thesis then investigates circumstances that especially in the automotive do play a role and influence the lead time. Based on the established information and facts it proposes measures that resolve this problem with regard to current trends in the industry and also consider the requirements and expectations of customers buying a new car.

Práce nejprve vymezuje koncept štíhlé výroby jako jeden z přístupů pro optimalizaci integrovaných logistických řetězců. Dále rozebírá a představuje základní nástroj konceptu štíhlé výroby, a to nástroj mapování hodnotových toků. Tento nástroj je v praktické části aplikován na konkrétní příklad z praxe. Jedná se o optimalizaci procesu příjmu materiálu do výrobního závodu. Součástí práce jsou také konkrétní návrhy zlepšení tohoto procesu.

Modelování v systému štíhlé výroby

Dissertation thesis elaborates and put into broader perspective of lean manufacturing two particular decision situations: optimization of the inventory levels between two adjacent production units and the competitive strategy for supplier in the supplier selection process. Discrete simulation is presented to be a suitable tool for determination of appropriate kanban card levels with respect to variability and overall system performance. Simulation optimization is introduced for kanban cards allocation in complex systems, such as multi-stage, multi-product production systems. Further, the lean procurement is presented as an integral part of lean manufacturing with significant influence on the just-in-time system. Stochastic model, which assess supplier competitiveness with the cost of further improvement, is developed.
